Ready to get CAPM Certification in 2021? Since its inception in 2003, the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) has provided approximately 27,000 persons with the opportunity to pursue a rewarding career in project management. Achieving this entry-level certification, which is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), demonstrates your ability to operate as part of a project team and demonstrate demonstrable knowledge of project management best practises.

Project management abilities have never been in higher demand in the workplace. According to a 2015 poll, there will be 2,348,8330 project-related job openings in the United States alone between 2010 and 2020, with a global demand for project management specialists predicted to grow by 12%. A CAPM certificate will surely provide you a competitive edge in a job market where a bachelor's degree is the norm. To become CAPM-certified, you don't need any prior project management expertise; all you need is a commitment to your chosen job and the willingness to study. To be a great project manager, you need a particular set of talents, but the passion to lead and drive success is by far the most vital. Employers are more likely to hire project managers who want to be project managers rather than those who see it as a stepping stone to other chances. Candidates seeking CAPM certification must have a secondary diploma (equivalent to a high school diploma) and at least 1,500 hours of project management experience or 23 hours of project

management instruction. In contrast to the Project Management Professional certification (PMP), which requires between 4,500 and 7,500 hours of project leadership and direction (depending on whether candidates have a secondary diploma or a four-year degree), CAPM only requires 1,500 hours of project team experience. Almost any work setting can benefit from this. The CAPM test is usually viewed as being easier to pass as an initial qualification than the PMP exam. The exam lasts three hours and includes 150 multiple-choice questions. As previously stated, the CAPM test is purely dependent on PMBOK knowledge. The PMP exam, on the other hand, assesses candidates' project management knowledge as well as their mastery of the PMBOK. Because both credentials are based on the same structure, the CAPM certification can be used as a springboard to the PMP certification. If you're considering taking the PMP test, CAPM will provide you with experience studying for a professional certification while also providing you with a qualification.
