Academic-Practice Partnerships: Preparing the Health care Workforce Through partnerships, Edson College has created unique & novel approaches to preparing the workforce of the future. The premise is “What are your workforce needs? How many nurses do you need? How many NPs does your care model require?

How do you want to advance your research agenda?” This adaptive model allows us to take our academic programming to the workplace and expands the learning options across the health care continuum.

How we address health and health outcome We prepare providers: NURSES - Students earning a BSN degree from Edson College have an NCLEX first-time pass rate of 95%, compared to the national average of 89.5%.

HRSA data support that Arizona needs an additional 14,300 nurses (equivalent to 20 percent of the state’s nursing workforce) to reach national average worker to population ratios.
