Healthy Lifestyle: Is

It Beneficial?

Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle is a long-term commitment to maintain or do some things to be able to support body func tions so that it has a good impact on health. Living a healthy lifestyle is also an important thing because according to the World Health Organization (WHO), an unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity are major global health risk factors. Living a healthy lifestyle can provide you with many benefits which are maintaining body immunity, increas ing stamina and energy, and improving sleep quality.

Maintain body immunity

The culture of healthy living that you continually build directly affects the condition of your immune system. Eating nutritious foods helps your body get the nutrients it needs to maintain and build immunity. Regular exercise can also help your body’s organs function more opti mally. In addition, maintaining personal hygiene can also suppress exposure to vi ruses and bacteria that have the poten tial to attack your immune system.

Increase stamina and energy

Who said that a healthy living culture in the form of regular exercise and lim iting the food consumed can make the body weak? Precisely a regular diet and diligent exercise can make energy pro duction increase.

The reason is that this regularity makes the body’s metabolic processes more optimal. As a result, you will feel that the energy and stamina are always there and always ready to carry out the

various daily activities

Improve sleep quality

Poor sleep quality is usually heav ily influenced by your activity levels, weight, and eating habits of certain foods. From now on, try to run a healthy diet to form an ideal body weight and choose foods more selectively, such as re ducing coffee. You will feel how your sleep quality improves and you can sleep deeply and soundly

The benefits of healthy living are also for mental health. Implementing a healthy lifestyle can improve a person’s mood and avoid depression. In applying it, we must eat nutritious food which is certainly good for physical and mental health. In addition, regular exercise is also good for improving mood. When you do exercise, your body produces endorphins that can trigger feelings of pleasure and happiness.

What Is Their Thought About Healthy Lifestyle?

In my opinion, healthy lifestyle is a habit that pays attention to maintaining eating habits, exercises, the balance between activities, and sufficient rest to allow one to live healthily and avoid various diseases and viruses. I thought it was adequate to cope with the Covid-19 virus pandemic situation if it were to be offset by some other positive activities. Furthermore, lifestyle activities should be regular and balanced. I think that pursuing a healthy lifestyle is someone’s choice. Although do ing good at first is difficult, start by living a healthy lifestyle, and have many benefits for yourself and everyone.

After almost 2 years of living with Covid-19, I see changes in everyone’s lifestyle, including myself. Since pandemic, it’s impossible for me to go without wearing a mask. The same goes for washing hands or using a hand sanitizer. I realized that I always have shower before and after leaving the house, especially when I go to crowded places. Not only that, I’ve also been eating healthy food, drinking lots of wa ter, and consuming different types of vitamins until now. I’m sure there’s a rainbow after a storm. The pandemic may cause us to fear, but it led us to a continuously healthy lifestyle

People are encouraged to take care of their health to protect them from viruses. Healthy lifestyle is crucial to be implement ed as preventive action. As a student and a social agent in public society, it’s our responsibility to socialize about a healthy lifestyle in public. We can do a healthy lifestyle by washing hands before going out, wearing masks when going out, con suming healthy food to boost the immune system, and exercis ing. Therefore, a healthy lifestyle prevents the spreading of coronavirus diseases so that we can do our activities normally, just like before the pandemic.
