FSC® 100%

We support our customers with their APCO membership obligations, including labelling for recovery, capturing packaging data and reporting of packaging metrics. PLASTIC PACKAGING PRODUCTS

We are committed to continuously improving the sustainability of our products and packaging. Our sustainability efforts and position on plastic packaging products seeks to align with packaging sustainability principles, including the APCO Sustainable Packaging Guidelines (SPGs), and support industry efforts, including Australia’s National Packaging Targets.

We design our range of plastic packaging products to be of a high quality to support any opportunity for reuse in our customer’s supply chain and optimised for recycling at their end of life. We value recycling as the preferred recovery option for our plastic packaging product, which has a higher environmental value in the waste hierarchy than organics recovery (composting). We continue to investigate opportunities to increase the use of recycled materials and renewable materials in our range.

Our soft plastic packaging is ready to recycle, made from a mono-material (single-polymer) polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). Most of our range is unpigmented clear plastic film free from labels and printing, which has the highest value for recycling, however, we do range black pigmented products to support the needs of our customers. We seek to optimise our range for recycling referencing the APCO Soft Plastic Consumer Packaging Guide

We have not included any compostable plastic packaging products in our range. Our range of plastic packaging products are expected to be used for secondary and tertiary packaging, and not expected to be in contact with food and other organics. We do not range any oxo-degradable or other fragmentable plastics, to support industry sustainability efforts and regulatory bans. This decision seeks to align with industry guidelines, including the APCO Considerations for Compostable Plastic Packaging.
