The basis of this project was creating a series of spaces with a limited kit-of-parts will be configured using a common base. The final design for this project was inspired by Mies van der Rohe and focused on open spaces and the simplicity of materials.The main idea behind this exploration was attempting to control the circulation of spaces through light.

The client has purchased the vacant lot at 1324 9th Street NW and has asked you to create a screen wall (a free standing façade) on the northern half of the site. This screen wall should be developed based on your analysis of context on either side of the site.
