Freeze warnings? Snow alerts? It can only mean one thing. The seasons are definitely changing. It also means the holiday fun is right around the corner. One of the merriest events will be the Edmond Ice Rink. Enjoy holiday ice skating in Mitch Park at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink. The rink will be open starting Friday and will run to Jan. 6. Glide around the 117 foot by 56 foot surface under clear, starlit skies. Experience fresh air, laughter and shouts of holiday glee with friends and family at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink. The largest metropolitan area ice rink offers free adjacent parking, open sessions, concessions, safety helmets, WiFi and indoor restrooms. Curling, hockey and figure skating are also available. A festive train will also
be available during ice rink hours. Make new memories basking in the festive spirit of Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s. Looking for something creative for elementary age students to do during the week long Thanksgiving Break? The Edmond Fine Arts Institute is hosting a one or two day Thanksgiving Holiday Art Camp on Nov. 19 and 20 from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Children will rotate between four classes to create multiple holiday themed art projects.
