In this work we will show what the prepositions are and their correct use, detailing more thoroughly the prepositions of movement.
Since, as in Spanish, an error in its use can give the listener an erroneous meaning of what that us want express. For a good expression and writing we must master the prepositions and their correct structure.
❖ Know the prepositions of movement most used in daily speaking.
❖ Explain the use and structure of each one of them according to the different situations.
❖ Indicate and detail its correct use and the exceptions according to the rule for each preposition.
❖ Show the different xprepositions according to the place time and movement.
Prepositions in English are key grammatical elements to have excellent oral expression and good writing
There are more than 100 prepositions, but not all of them are in common use.
Asingle preposition can have different functions, such as the preposition around that can be used to express place or time.
Its meaning changes completely this goes according to the context, for example, from, which can be translated as from or from.
Prepositions are not always located next to the element they modify, they can be found even at the end of the sentence, such as with or at.
Movement prepositions in English are words that we use to accompany the verbs of movement in English, and that help us define the direction in which the action is executed or the event occurs. They are also called address prepositions. Without the correct use of motion prepositions, English phrases would be meaningless.

¿What are they used for?
The prepositions of movement are used to “ help” verbs of movement to express when it is carrid out. The most common prepositions are to, down, into, a round, off, over.
¿How are they used?
These prepositions are frequently used together with verbs of movement in English and are found after the verb.
They help define the direction in which the action is executed or the event occurs, they are also known as a preposition of direction.
Prepositions are invariable words that serve as a link between the different parts of a sentence and introduce complements, to indicate origin, destination, place, direction, etc.

Spanish speakers often make the mistake of incorrectly using the word of before prepositions of place in English (behind of under of). This makes sense in Spanish but not in English. We only need the preposition of in front of which means in front of; for the rest of the prepositions we do not need of .

Correct: The tv is Under the bed

❖ When studying prepositions in English we must take into account that the English language is more precise than Spanish to indicate time, place, movement and the these prepositions are the most common.
❖ The tools provided are helpful so that we can understand the subject of prepositions in English. These play an important role in learning this foreign language by learning to use prepositions correctly
❖ we must be careful when using prepositons since they are subtle things that can change what we want to express. Care must be taken not to fall into the most common error, which is to confuse them.
❖ We must also be careful when writing prepositions because the unnecessary use of these can make what we want to express in writing confusing.
