Assembly Hall 8-10pm £20, £22.50 He’s the eldest son of the undisputed King of the blues, Muddy Waters. Mud and his fantastic band deliver classic Chicago electric blues. He’s the real deal charisma, authority, authenticity, musicality. This incredible showman plays the classic Chicago electric blues that Muddy is generally held to have invented, and which in its turn spawned the rock revolution of the 60s and 70s. Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and Paul Rodgers are among many to have covered Muddy’s music.

Playing her spiritedly accessible compositions, Dinosaur explore Jurd’s distinctive yet ever-evolving music with playful abandon and technical prowess from Elliot Galvin (piano), Conor Chaplin (double bass) and Corrie Dick (drums).
