Fashion is culture La moda è come un film in bianco e nero”, parafrasando il mitico Enrico Ruggeri, uno degli ospiti di questo numero.

Un vecchio film un po’ deprimente, se si guarda all’interpretazione di Dolce e Gabbana, nella scena in cui alla protagonista tocca mangiare la pizza con le bacchette.

Se avessero, i due stilisti, ascoltato le parole del ministro Bonisoli apparse sul primo numero di af-magazine: “Moda è cultura” e, in quanto tale, aggiungiamo noi, va maneggiata con cura, attenzione e rispetto.

Ma la moda sa essere anche un film dal bianco e nero intrigante e accattivante, il classicone con il tocco da maestro.

Soprattutto se si sposta l’attenzione sulla sostanza del fashion e ci si gusta la creatività emersa nelle sfilate estive dedicate all’uomo, a cui continua a piacere molto giocare con ispirazioni sportive.

Soprattutto se si incontra la profonda passione e tradizione incarnata da Fratelli Rossetti. Le parole di Diego Rossetti ci spingono a credere ancora nel Made in Italy, nella forza e nella bellezza di produrre in Italia, di realizzare ‘con le proprie mani’ quei capolavori di design chiamati calzature.

Soprattutto se si apprezza la meticolosa attenzione con cui Andrea Bonecco, buyer uomo di Rinascente, seleziona le nuove proposte e immagina i nuovi stili con cui conquistare i clienti nazionali e internazionali, in particolare quelli del negozio di Firenze, in via di restyling.

La moda diviene veramente cultura quando ci si imbatte nella magnifica cura per i dettagli di cui racconta la giovane designer italiana Chiara Cesaraccio, o di cui parlano le immagini scattate sull’Etna per la campagna Daniele Ancarani, o l’esclusività, tra passato e futuro, delle borse Leu Locati.

Tutti esempi di italianità di cui andare orgogliosi e che si aggiungono al vasto elenco di personalità ispiratrici presenti in questo numero: il creativo Renzo Rosso, di cui parla Giusi Ferrè, il tenace cavaliere Alessio Corradini, l’appassionato attore Andrea Bosca e la delicata attrice Dajana Roncione.

Sì, c’è tanta Italia bella nelle prossime pagine… che sia una canzone, un gesto atletico, un’espressione emotiva su un set, che sia moda o sia cultura, l’importante è che, alla fine, la bellezza ne esca vittoriosa.

“Fashion is like a black and white movie”, paraphrasing the legendary Enrico Ruggeri, one of the guests in this issue.

A slightly depressing old movie if we think of the Dolce e Gabbana performance, in the scene in which the leading actress is forced to eat pizza with chopsticks.

If only the two designers had listened to minister Bonisoli’s words in the first issue of af-magazine: “Fashion is culture” and as such, we would like to add, it must be handled with care and respect.

But fashion can also be an intriguing, captivating black and white movie, the big classic with a master’s touch.

Especially if one’s attention is directed to the substance of fashion and one enjoys the creativity that was present in the summer fashion shows dedicated to men, who keep enjoying playing with inspirations coming from sport.

Especially if one comes across the deep passion and tradition embodied by Fratelli Rossetti. Diego Rossetti’s words make us still believe in Made in Italy, in the strength and beauty of producing in Italy, of creating ‘with one’s own hands’ those design masterpieces called shoes.

Especially if one appreciates the meticulous care with which Andrea Bonecco, menswear buyer for the Rinascente stores, selects the new proposals and imagines the new styles with which to win national and international customers, in particular those of the Florence store, which is being restyled.

Fashion really becomes culture when one comes across the magnificent care for detail young Italian designer Chiara Cesaraccio talks about, or which is shown in the photos taken on Mount Etna for Daniele Ancarani campaign, or the exclusivity, between past and future, of Leu Locati bags.

All examples of Italianness of which we must be proud and which are added to the vast list of the inspiring personalities featured in this issue: the creative Renzo Rosso, about whom Giusi Ferré writes, tenacious horse rider Alessio Corradini, passionate actor Andrea Bosca and delicate actress Dajana Roncione.

Yes, there are a lot of beautiful Italian examples in the following pages… whether it is a song, an athletic gesture, an emotional expression on a movie set, whether it is fashion or culture, the main thing is that at the end of the day beauty comes out victorious.

i voleva Renzo Rosso con la sua carica di energica follia per lanciare la Ha(u)te Couture: pezzi unici di haute couture dove il dettaglio esclusivo è un insulto ricevuto via web e sistemato con grande visibilità su felpe, t-shirt e bomber. Se si toglie la u del sostantivo francese, infatti, haute diventa l’inglese “hate”, odio. Il linguaggio giusto per parlare alle nuove generazioni sensibili a temi di attualità come cyberbullismo, e le imperfezioni che possono ricevere un’attenzione più profonda se proposta da un punto di vista alternativo. Per Renzo Rosso, patron del marchio Diesel e amico delle star, è l’ironia. “Meglio ancora, l’autoironia”. Tipo esorcizzare gli hater, gli odiatori del web, rendendoli ridicoli. Ha lanciato il primo capitolo di questa nuova storia nel settembre scorso con il video musicale “The more hate you wear, the less you care” (più ti vesti di odio, meno te ne interessi) dove cantavano da Nicki Minaj a Bella Thorne. E nel secondo è intervenuto Fedez, che per la sua microcapsule ha scelto un termine ben preciso tra le parolacce ricevute, “infame”. Al Corriere della Sera Rosso ha raccontato di avere costruito un ottimo rapporto con il rapper. “Il suo modo di essere e di vestire incarna lo spirito autoironico e autonomo della nuova era Diesel”. Marchio che, giusto per ricordarlo, sta festeggiando i suoi 40 anni di vita ipercreativa.

C’è un continuo gioco al rimbalzo tra la musica e la moda che potrebbe sembrare autoritaria con le sue imposizioni di cambiamento periodico se non fosse sensibile a ogni espressione artistica e non se ne lasciasse in uenzare Mai come in questa epoca di selfie, Instagram, video, narrazione permanente di sé, l’abbigliamento quotidiano, anche lontano dal palco, diventa un gesto di comunicazione con migliaia, o milioni, di osservatori. È la scena musicale a proiettare in primo piano rapper, trapper, cantanti hip-hop e via elencando, che lanciano mode, atteggiamenti, stili come più non riescono a fare le attrici sui red carpet, testimonial di un marchio che

cambia a ogni festival, e che spesso non è nemmeno il più adatto. uello che appare pi significativo è il superamento degli standard estetici, un concetto così ben spiegato da Charles Baudelaire già nel 1887. “Quello che non è leggermente deforme, non è percettibile. Ne deriva che l’irregolarità, l’imprevisto, la sorpresa sono una parte essenziale della bellezza” Ecco così trionfare tipi fisici che definire esuberanti è un vezzeggiativo, come ic i Mina , con abiti sempre strappati e incollati su curve prosperose. O Rihanna, che è bellissima ma ultimamente lotta con l’estensione della circonferenza. L’ipertatuato Fedez, che alto non è, ha cortei di ammiratori. Quasi come quelli che cadono in deliquio per il maquillage e l’abbigliamento dei Måneskin, in particolare di Damiano David, scandalosamente bello. Mentre Young Signorino, al secolo Paolo Caputo da Cesena, il cui singolo “Mmh Ha Ha Ha” conta 23 milioni di visualizzazioni e favoleggia di essere figlio del roc er americano Marilyn Manson, dice che il suo pseudonimo deriva dal fatto che veste elegante “come un signorino” anche se il suo cuore “resta sulla strada”. Certo i trapper hanno in comune l’ostentazione del lusso, dei soldi, delle gri e ipo i due Role esibiti da Gionata Boschetti di Cinisello Balsamo, in arte Sfera Ebbasta, al Concertone del 1° Maggio. Forse un modo per dire “io ce l’ho fatta”. Mentre Ghali, che è altissimo e a ascinante nel completo di Gucci indossato nell’ultimo concerto a Milano, appare ironicamente impeccabile. Si sono fatti largo in una società che non li accetta ancora del tutto questi italiani di seconda generazione come Maruego, Tommy Kuti e Laïoung. Un esempio è proprio Tommy Kuti con quei suoi versi diretti, e crudi che parlano di pregiudizio, razzismo, integrazione. “Mi dai del negro, dell’immigrato/il tuo pensiero è un po’ limitato/ il mondo è cambiato, non è complicato/afroitaliano per te è un rompicapo”.

Sono le donne, in genere, a collaborare con i grandi marchi, non si capisce se perch pi creative o pi concrete negli a ari Rita ra, che la causa con Roc ation, la casa discografica di a - ha bloccato per oltre un anno, ha approfittato del periodo di relativo riposo per diventare la testimonial di Tezenis e di una linea di abbigliamento di Madonna, oltre a disegnarne una per Adidas. Una collaborazione durata tre anni “che le ha insegnato tanto” e le ha permesso di farne una tutta sua. E se è noto il successo ottenuto da Rihanna con ent uma, ent Beaut e Savage ent , la sua prima linea di lingerie, pochi conoscono la sua collezione per

il magico Manolo Blahnik, artista delle scarpe, per il quale ha disegnato tre elegantissime capsule.

Dua Lipa, giovane (ha anni) e magnifica, ha girato uno spot per Patrizia Pepe oltre ad annunciare l’uscita in autunno della collezione disegnata per Nyden del gruppo H&M. “Il mio primo amore è la musica – ha detto – ma il fashion gioca un ruolo molto importante nella mia vita” Sembra sia quello che pensa anche ustin imberlake che ha collaborato con il marchio per eccellenza dello stile americano, lanciando a livello mondiale Levi’s per ustin imberlake e la Fresh Leaves Collection, reinterpretazione attuale dei capi iconici del brand ai quali viene aggiunto qualche tocco di streetwear che possa dare proporzioni oversize e una nuova grinta. “L’abito è importante nel processo creativo e nella performance di un artista quanto la musica stessa. Questa collezione Levi’s® è il mio tentativo di condividere con i fan parte della mia esperienza”. Venti pezzi rivisti attraverso una lente di modernità e di una freschezza inaspettata. Vero, grande mito americano.

Only the manic energy of Renzo Rosso could have launched Ha(u) te Couture: unique pieces of haute couture where the exclusive detail is an insult received via the web and placed with great visibility on sweatshirts, t-shirts and bomber jackets. If you remove the “u” from the French noun, in fact, haute becomes “hate”. It is the right language to speak to new generations sensitive to current issues such as cyberbullying, and imperfections that can receive even more attention if looked at from an alternative perspective.

For Renzo Rosso, owner of the Diesel brand and friend to the stars, it is irony. “Better still, self-irony.” Like exorcising online haters and ma ing them loo ridiculous e launched the first chapter of this new story last September with the music video for the song “The more hate you wear, the less you care” sung, among others, by Nicki Minaj and Bella Thorne. And the second chapter with the participation of Fedez, who for his microcapsule collection chose a very specific word from all the derogatory words he received, “vile”. Rosso told the Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera” that he built an excellent relationship with the rapper. “His way of living and dressing embodies the self-deprecating and independent spirit of the new Diesel era”. A brand that, just to remind you, is celebrating 40 years of high creativity.

There is a continuous interplay between music and fashion that could seem authoritarian with its impositions of periodic change if it were not sensitive to any artistic expression and did not let itself be in uenced ore than ever in this era of selfies, Instagram, videos, permanent self-narration, does everyday clothing, even far from the stage, become a gesture of communication with thousands, or millions, of observers. The music scene puts the spotlight on rappers, trappers, hip-hop singers and so on, launching fashions, attitudes and styles that actresses are no longer able to do on the red carpet, testimonials of a brand that changes with each festival, and that often is not even the most suitable. hat seems most significant is the overcoming of aesthetic standards, a concept explained beautifully by Charles Baudelaire way back in 1887. “That which is not slightly distorted lacks sensible appeal, from which it follows that irregularity, the unexpected, surprise and astonishment are an essential part and characteristic of beauty.” This is reason for the triumph of physical types that could

be defined as e uberant, such as ic i ina s, with clothes always torn and glued to explosive curves. Or Rihanna, who is beautiful but lately showed an expanding waistline. The heavily tattooed Fedez, who is a short man, has hordes of admirers. Almost like those who swoon over the make-up and clothes of Måneskin, and particularly the scandalously handsome Damiano David. C

hiudo questo 2018 e mi apro al nuovo anno con positività, credo che sia alla base di una vita di successo il saper vedere sempre il bicchiere mezzo pieno e aver sempre voglia di conquistare un obiettivo, realizzare un sogno, lottare per esso, insomma “darsi da fare” sempre e comunque.

Da qualche mese sto lavorando insieme ad un artista e produttore di grande successo, Don Joe, stimato e pluripremiato beatmaker, tra i fondatori dei Club Dogo e produttore di grandi rapper e cantanti italiani che recentemente ha collaborato alla realizzazione di brani con Måneskin, Emis Killa e molti altri.

Con Don Joe abbiamo trovato un’ottima sintonia professionale, forse perché artisticamente abbiamo entrambi scelto lo pseudonimo “Joe”, o forse perché quando sei un vero professionista ti approcci al lavoro con la stessa determinazione e professionalità.

Abbiamo creato un nuovo format di evento che si chiama BADASS (termine che attinge dallo slang dei rapper americani e che si traduce con “tosto”, “cazzuto”) che unisce la sua passione per l’Hip Hop alla mia per la House Music.

Il connubio è esplosivo e coinvolge per un pubblico eterogeneo che ama la buona musica, il ritmo, il ballo.

Dopotutto Hip Hop e House Music hanno molto in comune: una nascita nei sobborghi americani, la passione per il funky degli anni ’70, grandi maestri che hanno saputo mischiare e contaminare i generi.

Ecco, la contaminazione.

E’ questo uno degli elementi del successo di molti artisti e brand attuali.

La moda lo insegna per prima, contaminare il proprio genere con spunti, idee, creatività di altri, come ad esempio Louis Vuitton che insieme a Supreme contamina il suo status di estrema eleganza con lo street style più in voga del momento.

Ce lo insegnò il grande maestro Pavarotti quando contaminò la lirica col pop, ce lo raccontano i grandi chef stellati che utilizzano materie prime povere per creare piatti di estremo lusso gustativo.

Alla base però serve prima di tutto la qualità, in ogni ambito professionale, perché la capacità di chi si reputa artista è proprio la sensibilità nel saper prendere due elementi distanti tra loro, a prima vista inconciliabili, e metterli insieme nel modo giusto, creando la magia.

Armani accostò il blu e il nero in un abbinamento estremamente chic, così come tanti stilisti hanno portato l’arte figurativa e pittorica in passerella e l’interior design si è vestito di colori, tessuti, elementi della vita comune che sono diventati oggetti iconici, come la bottiglietta della Coca Cola o la macchina da scrivere Olivetti.

Da questa recente contaminazione con il mio amico Don Joe ho capito soprattutto che alla base di ogni unione vincente c’è il rispetto. Il saper stare ognuno al proprio posto, senza invadere lo spazio dell’altro, il confronto e la condivisione delle idee creative e dell’organizzazione, la capacità di riconoscere i successi altrui e la volontà di mettersi a disposizione dell’altro nella creazione di un progetto comune.

Non li reputo solo principi di buona convivenza tra artisti/professionisti, credo che il rispetto sia alla base della socialità, del saper stare al mondo, perché c’è sempre qualcosa da imparare, anche dopo anni di scintillanti successi.

I closed this 2018 and opened the new year with positivity. I believe that a successful life is based on always seeing the glass half full and on the desire to achieve a goal and realize a dream, to fight for it, and to do everything that is necessary to make sure it comes true.

For some months now I’ve been working with a very successful artist and producer, Don Joe. The esteemed and award-winning beatmaker is also one of the founders of Club Dogo and producer of great Italian rappers and singers, collaborating with artists such as Måneskin, Emis Killa and many others.

Don Joe and I have achieved an excellent professional harmony, maybe because artistically we both chose the pseudonym “Joe”, or maybe because real professionals approach the work with the same determination and commitment.

We have created a new event format called BADASS (a word that comes from American rap slang and means “tough” and “fearless”)

which combines his passion for hip hop with my passion for House Music.

The combination is explosive and is targeted to a heterogeneous audience that loves good music, rhythm and dance.

Afterall Hip Hop and House Music have a lot in common: they were both born in the American suburbs, with a passion for 1970s funk, great masters who knew how to mix and contaminate the genres.

Contamination.

It is one of the factors for the success of many of today’s artists and brands.

Fashion is the first to demonstrate this: contaminating one s own genre with the ideas and creativity of others, such as Louis Vuitton whose collaboration with Supreme contaminates its status of extreme elegance with the trendiest street styles of the moment.

The great maestro Luciano Pavarotti also gave us a lesson on this when he contaminated opera with pop, as did award-winning chefs who use humble ingredients to create extremely luxurious dishes.

At the base, however, first and foremost is needed uality, in every professional field, because the ability of those who consider themselves to be artists lies in their sensitivity in knowing how to ta e two di erent elements, at first glance irreconcilable, and put them together in the right way, creating the magic.

Armani combined blue and black in an extremely chic combination, and many designers have brought figurative and pictorial art to the catwalks and interior design has used the colours and fabrics of everyday elements, which have become iconic objects, like the Coca Cola bottle or the Olivetti typewriter.

From this recent contamination with my friend Don Joe I understood that the key of every successful union is respect. With each one knowing how to stay in their lane, without invading the space of the other, the exchange and sharing of creative ideas and organization, the ability to recognize the other person’s achievements and the willingness to make yourself available to each other in order to create a common project.

Not only do I consider these to be principles of good coexistence between artists/professionals, I believe that respect is the basis of sociality, of knowing how to be in the world, because there is always something to learn, even after years of dazzling success.

nrico Ruggeri, nell’arco della sua ormai quarantennale carriera, ha sempre sperimentato con coraggio e curiosità, ma soprattutto con ineccepibile professionalità, le più disparate forme artistiche. Perché ama le sfide e sa mettersi in gioco senza risparmiarsi. Ogni volta con successo.

Uomo di rara intelligenza e cultura, ironico, dalla conversazione brillante e divertente, a tratti anche tagliente ma sempre elegante, è riuscito, con disinvoltura e naturalezza, a passare dal punk degli anni 70 (genere che gli è valso l’infondata accusa di neonazista ), alla fase cantautorale di taglio quasi francese degli anni (‘Rien ne va plus’, ‘Il portiere di notte’), per avventurarsi successivamente nel roc , e infine essere consacrato come autore ambito e conteso, soprattutto da interpreti femminili. È stato conduttore televisivo - persino di programmi scientifici come ‘Mistero’. È conduttore radiofonico di successo nella fortunata trasmissione Il falco e il gabbiano”, tuttora in programmazione su Radio 24. Ed è stato autore teatrale... Insomma, un artista poliedrico, a cui manca solo un’esperienza da attore, ma conoscendolo (e lo conosco molto bene), non è da escludere Durante la realizzazione di questo servizio fotografico, abbiamo fatto quattro chiacchiere, ripercorso alcune fasi della sua carriera, e scoperto quale significato le attribuisce gnuno di noi nasce con uno scopo nella vita. Il mio è raccontare storie. Parto dal presupposto che l’esistenza di qualsiasi abitante della terra potrebbe divenire film, canzone, libro, opera teatrale, quadro Basta coglierne la parte pi spettacolare e interessante, e raccontarla Io ho iniziato con la musica, fino quando ho capito che le mie storie non erano pi contenibili solo nella forma canzone”

celebrity Scatta il primo ash Accec ti scopriamo che come scrittore debutta con libri di poesie, racconti brevi, una bella autobiografia (‘Sono stato pi cattivo’), fino ad approdare al noir” dei giorni nostri Un mestiere che a ronta con grande umiltà, molto seriamente, temendo di finire nella libreria di casa di qualcuno che magari ha sullo sca ale anche olsto erci ho iniziato in punta di piedi, prima di arrivare al mio primo romanzo giallo ‘Che giorno sarà’”, a cui sono seguiti ‘ on si pu morire la notte di atale’, ‘La brutta estate’ e ‘Un prezzo da pagare’ Ma come mai proprio i gialli? La risposta è interessante. A Enrico Ruggeri “appassiona raccontare storie di persone normali che si confrontano con momenti straordinari, spesso terribili. Persone che, in circostanze particolari, trovano una forza che non pensavano di avere, oppure sprofondano in bassezze che non pensavano di poter commettere”.

Si mette in posa per il prossimo clic, nello studio da cui di solito passano modelle e star al femminile. Donne, le stesse di cui spesso parlano le canzoni di Enrico Donne, le stesse che hanno amato interpretare i suoi testi e la sua musica.

La prima fu Diana Est, poi ci fu ‘Il mare d’inverno‘ di Loredana Bert , le tredici canzoni scritte per iorella Mannoia, e ancora Mia Martini, Anna a, Milva, Rita avone, Gigliola Cinquetti Evidentemente ero in linea con i gusti di allora. Dubito che oggi potrebbe accadere lo stesso. Una cantante appena uscita da un talent cerca sentimenti semplici, non storie che sanno scavare. Ha bisogno di qualcuno che scriva slogan rancamente loro non mi interessano e probabilmente io non interesso loro”.

Cambio di obbiettivo Mentre si avvita sul corpo della macchina fotografica, e prima che le luci vengano riposizionate, Enrico ricorda quanto la Mannoia rimase colpita dal testo di ‘Quello che le donne non dicono’, divenuto poi un vero inno per molte donne. “Disse che era talmente femminile da risultare quasi incredibile che non fosse stata una donna a scriverlo”.

Con Mina and un po’ diversamente oleva incidere ‘Il portiere di notte’, ma mi chiese di cambiarne il testo reso da soggezione, le risposi che ci avrei provato per poi rendermi conto che era impossibile Come avrei potuto proporre una ‘portiera di notte’ che si innamora di un gigol , oppure capovolgere la situazione e far parlare la prostituta... Non andava bene. Presi il coraggio a due mani e la richiamai. Le dissi che ero lusingato dalla sua scelta, ma non potevo accontentarla. E che mi avrebbe fatto piacere se l’avesse cantata così com’era. Lei, da donna e artista intelligente qual è, ha compreso perfettamente e l’ha cantata seguendo il testo originale”.

Ci si prepara per l’ultima posa, ma desidero ancora sapere chi è il cantante migliore secondo Enrico Ruggeri? Lui non ha dubbi e indica Andrea Mir (di cui è stato anche produttore), perch è la musicista pi brava, uomini compresi, che abbia conosciuto a livello di talento, di scrittura, di musicalità Scrive musica senza nemmeno l’aiuto di uno strumento”.

Dajana Roncione – an actress from Palermo who has built her career in Rome and now lives in Oxford for love – has worked with the greatest Italian directors, such as Giuseppe Tornatore in ‘Baaria’ and Michele Placido in ‘Il grande sogno’ (The great dream).

She is a delicate actress, whose interiority is visible only to the most expert eye… and this is the gift of the greatest interpreters, that is to say, to leave a veil of mystery in order to make the public want to discover more of their talent he first uestion I as her is about that Dajana with a “J”, which is not reminiscent of her land. She herself is not certain about the origin of her name; she only knows that her parents were fond of Paul Anka and of his hit ‘Diana’. It was probably the desire for an exotic name that convinced them to choose that specific version of the name er relationship with the theatre – she told me – was born of a need that had been there since she was a child; a very lively child, but also an introverted one. A fundamental relationship, visceral, which she considers the foundation of her very essence as a woman and an actress:

“I thought that playing characters would help me to understand myself, like a sort of therapy”.

During the high-school period, she was lucky to meet teachers that oriented her towards the Teatro Stabile in Palermo, the Teatro Biondo, and that is how her career began.

Soon the TV miniseries about Mia Martini called ‘I am Mia’ will be aired, in which she plays the singer’s sister Loredana Berté. A difficult role as always happens when a character that is still alive is played – although the series is set in the ‘70s, therefore before Berté became a rock star.

“I had to study very hard, especially with my vocal coach, in order to obtain a timbre as close as possible possible to the original one.

Indeed, today, to live in Oxford is not a problem at all for me”.

All of Dajana’s strength lies in that choice: a girl who left Monreale, in Sicily, and was able to do everything on her own, to put to use the art of making do that her island taught her, and to face a world that is not easy: “I didn’t even think about it too much; it was what I wanted and that was it”.

She considers herself a girl with a suitcase because she travels an awful lot.

A suitcase in which there must always be books - although she does not want to be considered an intellectual - and the ever-present shoes with high heels. No glitters and no rhinestones: she hates them.

Marco Colletti Magic Attraction

L

’opera che Marco Colletti dedica ad Af-magazine si intitola ‘Le Dernier Amour’ e si ispira alla novella della scrittrice francese Marguerite Yourcenar: una rappresentazione fantastica e al contempo so erta di un amore tanto grande, quanto impossibile da realizzarsi, quello tra il principe d’Asia Genghi il Risplendente e la sua concubina. Qui, come in molte altre opere dell’artista, la scena è immersa in un’aura drammatica e decadente, dove le figure umane hanno un volto d’animale e le peonie illuminate simboleggiano una bellezza salvifica senza tempo. La donna-cigno, posta al centro dello sguardo dello spettatore, tiene in mano un calice da cui fuoriescono farfalle, simbolo di trasformazione. “La mia poetica mira a rappresentare un immaginario surreale popolato da figure antropomorfe, le quali riscattano se stesse e l’ambiente circostante dal degrado e dalla decadenza.

Gli accessori, come la grande collana di frutta e foglie dorate che il Principe porta al collo, giocano un ruolo particolarmente importante, simboleggiando l’opulenza e la ricchezza perduta”. artendo da una base fotografica di luoghi abbandonati, l’artista riqualifica con interventi digitali l’ambiente circostante e vi inserisce una figurazione magica, simbolo di una pi generale riscoperta di un mondo segreto di valori. Il tutto è poi stampato lambda e montato su alluminio. Il risultato è un’opera fantastica eppure terribilmente realistica nei suoi significati pi profondi, dove il tema del mascheramento rappresenta una realtà ideale che non può mai essere completamente rivelata per non svanire.

Art Director e illustratore, Marco Colletti è nato a Monterotondo, in provincia di Roma nel 1965, città in cui tutt’oggi vive e lavora. Dopo una formazione classica con una laurea in Lettere presso l’Università ‘La Sapienza’, decide di assecondare la sua innata inclinazione artistica frequentando l’Accademia Disney sotto la direzione di G.B. Carpi. Ha collaborato con il Dipartimento Creativo di The Walt Disney Company a Milano, e come Digital Artist e fotografo espone in numerose collettive e personali, oltre che essere presente in diverse collezioni private.

He then uses lambda printing and mounts his creation on aluminium. The result is a fantastical work that is terribly realistic at the same time and filled with deeper meaning, where the theme of disguises represents an ideal reality that cannot ever be completely revealed without the risk of it vanishing.

An Art irector and Illustrator, arco Colletti was born in onterotondo, in the province of Rome in , where he still lives and works today. After completing his classical studies with a degree in iterature from the a apienza niversity, he decided to reinforce his innate artistic talent by attending the Disney Academy headed

by G Carpi e then collaborated with the Creative epartment of The Walt Disney Company in Milan. In his role as a Digital Artist and photographer, he has e hibited both collectively and independently, with many of his wor s also present in various private collections.

Come si diventa buyer per Rinascente?

“Rinascente ha creato un percorso formativo interno che punta alla crescita a tutto tondo dei propri responsabili acquisti. Un percorso di Allievato che prepara ad a rontare un lavoro così peculiare, per cui è necessario destreggiarsi in molti settori diversi, sviluppando conoscenze ad ampio raggio: dal prodotto, alla vendita, passando per il magazzino e l’analisi dei dati provenienti dai negozi… L’anima del buyer, infatti, non è solo sensibilità riguardo il prodotto, ma anche capacità di analisi numerica e di negoziazione. È un lavoro che richiede un buon bilanciamento di diverse capacità”.

Quanto conta la conoscenza approfondita dei prodotti? “È fondamentale diventare in qualche modo esperti dei prodotti che si devono scegliere. Un sapere che si costruisce a partire dalla passione e dalla curiosità per questo lavoro, da cui non si può prescindere”.

Come costruite l’offerta di Rinascente?

Cerchiamo il giusto mi merceologico che soddisfi la nostra variegata platea di clienti. Ovviamente ogni punto vendita presenta delle caratteristiche di unicità che vanno considerate. Nel negozio di Firenze in via di ristrutturazione, per esempio, daremo molto più risalto al tessuto artigianale toscano, per costituire un’o erta che entri in dialogo con le caratteristiche della città e del territorio”.

Cosa cerca in una calzatura?

“Quando mi accosto a un modello che ha attratto la mia attenzione, voglio che presenti un percepito di qualità che vada oltre il prezzo. Perché qualsiasi cliente si aspetta sempre che il prodotto sia di buona fattura e duri nel tempo, a prescindere da quanto lo ha pagato.

Poi, a seconda dei brand, alcune caratteristiche assumono più o meno rilievo: il made in, l’artigianalità, la tendenza, il nome e ovviamente anche il prezzo”.

Le vetrine di Rinascente sono rinomate. Qual è il vostro segreto per attrarre l’attenzione?

Le vetrine di Rinascente, in particolare quelle del agship di Milano, sono un punto di riferimento per chi passeggia per le strade del centro Sono quasi un’a ssione naturale, con una visibilità incredibile, se si pensa che ogni anno entrano in store più di 9 milioni di persone.

Un riconoscimento che ci spinge a comunicare sempre meglio, all’esterno e all’interno del negozio, le storie di qualità dei brand che selezioniamo.

Non credo ci sia un vero e proprio segreto, se non l’ottimo lavoro di squadra, attento ai tanti dettagli da considerare. Per esempio, che le persone addette alla vendita ricevano tutte le informazioni sostanziali e utili per raccontare al meglio le caratteristiche e le peculiarità di un prodotto”.

Quali sono i migliori clienti di Rinascente?

“Il nostro mix merceologico si rivolge a un pubblico medio-alto, anche se cerchiamo sempre di essere democratici: si pensi alla nostra collezione di calzature che propone livelli di prezzo anche molto diversificati Su piazze come Milano e Roma, il turismo conta parecchio, anche se il cliente italiano rimane comunque importante.

All’interno della clientela straniera il cinese spicca un po’ di più, seguito dal russo. Su Roma notiamo una buona quota di clientela americana, che riteniamo di poter ritrovare anche a Firenze, una volta completato il rinnovo del negozio”.

Quale lo stile dominante dell’ultima stagione?

How do you build the Rinascente offer?

“We look for the right mix of products that will please our varied range of customers. Obviously every store has unique characteristics that must be taken into account. In the Florence store (which is being renovated), for example, we will give greater prominence to uscan craftsmanship, in order to create an o er that is in line with the city’s and territory’s characteristics”.

What do you look for in footwear?

“When I approach a model that captures my attention, I want it to have quality that is perceived beyond its price. Because every customer always e pects the product to be well-made and to last over time, regardless of how much they have paid for it.

The Rinascente windows are famous. What is your secret to attract attention?

itti Immagine Uomo, la manifestazione di riferimento a livello globale per il menswear e il lifestyle contemporaneo, si svolgerà a Firenze dall’8 all’11 gennaio 2019. La scelta del tema guida “The Pitti Box” rappresenta un tributo al carattere comune di tutti i saloni di Pitti immagine: quello di essere degli straordinari contenitori di idee e novità da aprire e cambiare di stagione in stagione per raccontare le nuove vibrazioni di moda e lifestyle. I marchi presenti saranno 1.230, di cui 542 (il 44%) dall’estero, dislocati su una superficie espositiva di mila metri quadrati ra le novità che definiscono la prossima edizione, vi è la partecipazione di Y/Project in qualità di menswear guest designer e quella di Aldo Maria Camillo, all’esordio con la collezione che porta il suo nome, come Pitti Italics Special Event. Herno presenta la collezione Herno Laminar – Sartorial Engineering all’interno di uno spazio espositivo dedicato in Fortezza, così come Moon Boot che celebra i 50 anni del brand anche con un progetto-evento alla Stazione Leopolda. Slam Jam, company italiana dedicata all’urban culture, celebrerà invece i suoi primi trent’anni collaborando con alcuni partner per la creazione di una serie di interventi all’interno degli spazi del Museo Marino Marini. Tra gli eventi speciali, vi sarà la presentazione del nuovo allestimento del Gucci Garden, il Japanese White Leather Project con quattro designer giapponesi specializzati nella lavorazione artigianale antichissima della pelle bianca - praticata solo nell’area di Himeji, e Concept Korea che presenta la sfilata ‘Be ond Closet’ Guest ation sarà il ortogallo, mentre, per la seconda volta, ci sarà un focus sulla moda di ricerca con Scandinavian Manifesto.

Pitti Immagine Uomo, the most important international event dedicated to menswear and contemporary lifestyles will be held in Florence from January 8th to 11th 2019. The choice of the main theme, “The Pitti Box”, is a tribute to the character shared by all the Pitti Immagine shows: that of being extraordinary containers of ideas and innovations to be opened and changed from season to season in order to recount the newest vibes of fashion and lifestyle.

1,230 brands will be present, of which 542 (44%) from abroad, spread across an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters.

Among the new features that define the ne t edition is the participation of Y/Project as menswear guest designer and that of Aldo Maria Camillo, debuting with his namesake collection, as well as Pitti Italics Special Event.

Over a century after its foundation, Leu Locati enters a new phase thanks to the collections designed by the extremely young heir of the Locati family. a sempre nella moda. Prima come modella, ora come designer di accessori, sia calzature che borse, e dal 2017 come co-proprietaria e direttrice creativa del marchio Judith Leiber.

Da sei anni Dee Ocleppo, moglie del fashion guru omm ilfiger, dirige il marchio che porta il suo nome, nato con collezioni di borse, a cui, da settembre, si sono aggiunte le calzature.

“Disegno borse dal 2011. Inizialmente modelli personalizzabili, realizzati in Cina e venduti in televisione sul canale HSN, così come da Harrods, Galeries Lafayette o Saks Fifth Avenue”.

Dopo aver venduto il sistema ‘Bag Bar’ a Kate Spade, la designer decide di lanciare una nuova linea di borse e scarpe di alta gamma che portasse il suo nome, producendo tutto in Italia: “Mi interessava costruire una collezione Made in Italy che avesse un prezzo giusto. Per questo motivo abbiamo deciso di vendere direttamente online e spedire in tutto il mondo senza costi aggiuntivi. Così riusciamo a far pagare 420 dollari al massimo un paio di scarpe di altissimo livello”.

La domanda può sembrare scontata, ma obbligata. Come mai proprio l’Italia? Lei risponde senza pensarci: “Perché produrre in Italia significa qualità fantastica dei materiali e della manodopera Un bel design realizzato in Italia si trasforma in oggetto indimenticabile E poi sono molto a ezionata all’Italia, dove vivono i miei figli, avuti con il mio ex-marito”.

Lo rivela l’edizione 2018 dell’Osservatorio Non Food di GS1 Italy, lo studio realizzato in collaborazione con TradeLab che dal 2003 monitora 13 mercati extra-alimentari, da cui emerge in particolare l’exploit di sneaker con oltre 2,1 miliardi di euro di vendite soprattutto online: il valore dello shopping sui canali di e-commerce è cresciuto del 14,5% rispetto al 2017 e di ben +189,3% rispetto al 2013. C’è sempre più abbigliamento sportivo negli armadi degli italiani tra negozi fisici, outlet e acquisti sul eb, nel 2017 gli italiani hanno speso quasi 6 miliardi di euro in shopping di articoli di inspirazione fitness, come abbigliamento, calzature e attrezzi. La dinamica tra innovazione, comodità e contenuto moda, insieme all’aumento dell’assortimento, ha conquistato gli shopper. “La presenza di calzature sportive di brand molto conosciuti e di usi ha generato un ricorso progressivo agli acquisti online, semplificati anche dall’introduzione di app monomarca dove i consumatori trovano prezzi più convenienti e consegne rapide e precise” - spiega Marco Cuppini, research and communication director di GS1 Italy. Si chiude così il racconto scritto da Daniele Ancarani, che introduce alla mostra fotografica ‘ ictures’ dove sono state raccolte le immagini più belle delle campagne pubblicitarie delle ultime due stagioni del brand, tra cui quelle interpretate dall’irriverente icona di stile Drusilla Foer.

Una mostra/evento in cui si è respirato tutto il fascino delle calzature firmate Daniele Ancarani, la forza della loro semplice ricercatezza alpabile la voglia di arte ancor prima che di scarpe, o meglio, la voglia di realizzare calzature che siano prima di tutto un gesto creativo più che di business.

“Gods gave given them kindness” this is how the story written by Daniele Ancarani ends, which introduces the photographic exhibition ‘Pictures’ where the best images of the advertising campaigns of the last two seasons of the brand were collected, including those interpreted by the irreverent style icon Drusilla Foer.

An exhibition/event in which all the charm of shoes designed by aniele Ancarani and the strength of their simple refinement was the mood. The desire for art even before shoes, or rather, the desire to ma e shoes that are first of all a creative gesture and then business is palpable.

La società americana ha analizzato le risposte di oltre 6.000 consumatori e 1,4 miliardi di visite ai principali portali e-commerce.

Con lo scopo di comprendere meglio i propri clienti, negli anni ’90 Tesco ha introdotto per la prima volta il sistema delle carte fedeltà, uno dei momenti cruciali nella storia della vendita al dettaglio. Oggi, le carte fedeltà non bastano più. Quasi i due terzi dei consumatori avvertono la sensazione che le aziende di cui sono clienti, non li conoscano poi così bene ( ) L’intelligenza artificiale e il machine learning hanno però il potenziale per cambiare la situazione, consentendo ai professionisti del mondo retail di anticipare le mosse dei consumatori per o rire esperienze su misura Per la seconda edizione del report “Shopper-First Retailing”, Salesforce, in collaborazione con Publicis.Sapient, ha esaminato le nuove regole che guidano il settore retail, individuando 5 punti: 1. Le aziende e siti di e-commerce (marketplace) stanno “spremendo” i retailer Sebbene gli acquisti al dettaglio siano preferiti per un migliore servizio clienti, gli acquisti tramite siti di e-commerce e siti delle aziende restano i favoriti dei consumatori.

I retailer devono sfruttare il punto di forza giocato dal servizio o erto modernizzando le tecniche di vendita attraverso nuovi strumenti come le video chat o i chat bot sempre attivi. Inoltre, dovrebbero anche mirare a migliorare la percezione dei clienti per quanto riguarda la qualità e la disponibilità dei prodotti in vendita.

In order to better understand its customers, in the 1990s Tesco introduced for the first time the loyalty card system, one of the crucial moments in the history of retail sales. Today, loyalty cards are no longer enough. Almost two-thirds of consumers have the feeling that the companies they are customers of, after all, do not know them so well Artificial intelligence and machine learning, however, have the potential to change the situation, allowing retail professionals to anticipate consumer moves to o er tailor-made experiences.

For the second edition of the “Shopper-First Retailing” report, Salesforce, in cooperation with Publicis.Sapient, examined the new rules that guide the retail sector, identifying 5 points: 1. Il secondo acquisto è dunque il nuovo campo di battaglia. Agilità, fidelizzazione e personalizzazione sono indispensabili per rivenditori e marchi per di erenziare e vincere questa importante gara Esperienze e prodotti indimenticabili non possono essere commercializzati.

I clienti usano il telefonino in negozio come mai prima d’ora Il punto vendita è tutt’altro che superato: il 46% dei clienti preferisce ancora acquistare in un negozio fisico, mentre il opta per gli store online e il 18% compra da mobile. Inoltre, il 71% dei clienti dichiara di utilizzare il proprio telefonino in negozio, rispetto al 62% del 2017.

A parte alcune rare eccezioni, nei negozi mancano le call-to-action per il mobile, né sono presenti app con funzionalità omnicanale o personalizzazione per gli utenti da mobile. Chi punta tutto sull’omnicanalità dovrebbe quindi imparare a sfruttare al meglio le potenzialità o erte dall’uso degli smartphone nei negozi tramite l’uso mirato di app, geofencing, SMS e social media.

4. Sta arrivando il fast retail: i clienti preferiscono rivenditori capaci di muoversi alla loro velocità Il dei consumatori a erma che è importante vedere nuovi prodotti ogni volta che entrano in un negozio o un sito per fare shopping.
