APCER CERTIFIES THE HANDLING QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF SATA GROUP The Board of Handling of SATA Group declared as completed the APCER 2nd follow-up audit to its Quality Management System at Pico and Ponta Delgada airports. The Ground Equipment Service and the Board, the Quality and Professional Training Management Service, at headquarters, in Ponta Delgada, were also audited. From all assessed items, the following strengths were highlighted: activity growth, positive assessment from the client airlines, training volume and the flexibility presented by the teams at airports of a smaller dimension. The commitment and professionality of the handling team at SATA Azores Airlines was, once more, recognized in the scope of the Service Rendering Certification regarding ground handling services. The result of the audit was Zero Nonconformities and five Opportunities for Improvement.
