We're delighted you're considering a gap year with us!

Our 10 month programme aims to equip you for a lifetime of mission in whatever contexts God has for you beyond this time. In this brochure you'll find an outline of what a Gap Year with Edinburgh City Mission could look like for you.

Maisie was the first participant on our Gap Year programme, joining in September 2020, and Judith is our current Intern! Here's a wee quote from them on their experiences:

"My roles and responsibilities evolved over the year. I felt the most responsibility for Clothesbank+ where I was challenged and stretched as new situations called for new skills.

Overall, my time was filled with new people, experiences and most of all knowing God’s grace more truly as he showed me the truth of 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 ‘But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.'"
