Rose Marie (Wnek) Bertrand ’64 was nominated for the Women’s Health Hero Award which is hosted by the authors of Our Bodies, Ourselves publications. Rose Marie has served many women in the community as a doula, attending births for over 20 years. Ten years ago she founded Small Miracles Volunteer Doula Services to provide this service to those who could not afford it. She still continues in this capacity today.
