DURING THE PAST SEVERAL years, you have encountered many changes in your political, legal and financial systems. And yet little has been transformed. You are in the midst of great upheaval. Your president no longer believes in hiding his true motives, nor do many other politicians, who are transparent in their grasp for power. And so you see what happens when a form of consciousness is being pulled away — it resists. You are witnessing the resistance of an older form of consciousness dying, and it is a slow and agonizing process for all of you to watch and witness and experience. You are in the throes of it, and it will last for some time. Even if you manage to install someone new, you will not be done with this process, for this process is not limited to one person, one party, or one period in your democracy or in any of the other structures you have. You resort to thinking of this as a

kind of bad apple problem in which one person, who is symptomatic of the issue, is removed, and then you find yourself wondering why that change has not led to the emancipation or equality or justice or whatever other value you are beholden to. No, that is not what happens. Each is just a manifestation of a particular vibration of that consciousness. It is being removed, it is being transformed, but that takes time, for so many of you are still a part of it, still asking yourselves the same questions, still relating to each other through the lens of judgment and separation. Do not be persuaded by this line of thinking. Do not believe that you are failing to transform this world if a conservative candidate is chosen instead of a new progressive candidate. Nor do we say that it is better to have a conservative candidate win. We understand that the progressive candidates in your midst champion the rights and values of many who are not given voices, and this is to be applauded. Rather, we want you to know that the selection of one over the other is

not evidence that a shift has happened. It is not evidence that a “war” is being won. This is the wrong way to view what is happening, and that is what we must impress upon all of you — to be aware of your attitude as you perceive the changes in your society. For you fluctuate constantly, up and down, angry and elated, with every little move. You perceive each shift as some sort of indication of a front between two sides, and the movement back and forth between two halves, the right side and the wrong side, and it is this thinking that must be abandoned if you are to usher in an enlightened society. You cannot do so if you regard each instance as a victory or a loss. You cannot regard each and every vote, trial or decision as going into one column or another, or that balance emerges from there, with one side having “more” than the other. Do you not see the fundamental flaw in this outlook? In this view of the world as a kind of balance sheet? No, you cannot win this war. You have to recognize that there is no winning; there is no war. There is only loving your brethren, your fellow humans, as perfect manifestations of their divinity, even if their words and actions betray that divinity, for they do not know the truth of who they are. Your task is to remind them always of their truth. And this is no easy task. Each of you must learn to see the world as a divine creation, as a world filled with love and magic, where what you are seeing is simply the collective manifestation of your minds all working together to create this playground in which you all dance as Light and shadow, and you are asked to see it all as Light. a PATRICK PAUL GARLINGER experienced a dramatic spiritual awakening years ago when he began to meet numerous spiritual teachers and experience higher states of consciousness. Affirm: ‘I Am Supported’ A Monthly Affirmation BY CHARLOTTE “MAMA” ROSE THEY SAY, THERE IS no time like the present and indeed we must find presence now like never before in order to navigate the times. There have been challenges in our past that have pushed us to the brink of loneliness, obsession, self-pity and overwhelm. The tides turn now with the new year welcoming a source of energetic support that we can feel when we center into the present moment. This month I invite you use the affirmation, “I am supported,” to remind your mind, body and emotional systems to reconcile with your spirit and find home again in the moment that we all truly belong to in essence. Please read back through my affirmation columns from December 2018 to present day to gather support for your understanding of the way that I am reflecting your innerknowing to you now. You may notice that I have assumed a tone in this writing that is more personal and potent than ever before. Indeed, I am speaking to your spirit directly now, one-to-one, across the seemingly limitless bounds of time and space to support you with poignant energetics encased in the vehicle of words, which your system knows how to decode, absorb and integrate. We are called to be grown-ups, not stiff and stuck in our ways but dynamical and responsible adults. It helps to look back on the big cycles of personal and cultural history to remember what we’ve survived, learn from and thrived upon. Believe that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice,” from the great Capricorn, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Although this seriousness walks with us all month, on January 3 Mars enters Sagittarius and brings a hopeful restlessness. January 10-15 could instigate a major turning point in our personal or political history, as Venus enters sensitive Pisces, the moon is eclipsed, Uranus turns direct, and Saturn conjuncts Pluto exactly, all precipitating our resistance to disfunction and need for change. It will help us to believe in our ideas and ideals so we can guide the change towards constructive goals. Mercury enters Aquarius January 16, squares Uranus January 18, and opens new possibilities. Aries (Mar. 21-Apr. 19)...If there is tension in your work, instead of rebelling, take the lead and turn the challenges into a good opportunity. Don’t take on more than you can efficiently do; discern what’s specifically your job and organize the rest. You are needed, even if you don’t know it yet. Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)...Although you may often prefer comfort and familiarity, challenges arise which call you out of that comfort zone to learn, expand and come to understand, rather than just avoid the difficulties. Offer your levelheadedness rather than take sides. Encourage the practical next step to nurture collaboration. Gemini (May 21-June 20)...Your relationships may hit a turning point; you may need to untangle psychic or financial snarls and repair porous boundaries to help people walk forward together, because they want to, not because they have to. It is time to feel our experience fully, integrate our past and meet the challenges presented to us with our full selves rather than fragments. From this state of awareness that includes so much more of who we are, we find that we are well equipped to take on our challenges and can rest into the flow of life as we navigate the new. In times where logic fought to control the outcome of the situation, we put our hearts on the back-burner, saying, “Shhh,” be quiet, there will be time to feel later. The time is now. We bring news of a building wave of unprecedented energetic light that is flowing from the heavenly bodies down to Earth to support you on your individual journey. Behold the change of frequency on your Earth plane, for the divine shifts have begun anchoring layers of a higher consciousness life force within Earth. A powerful quickening is within your atmosphere as shafts of light are transmitting and birthing a new patterning of light consciousness. The full expression of this light essence is permeating and interacting with everything that contains a life force energy on Earth. These higher profile light frequencies exploded onto the planet at the time of New Year. As this vast frequency of energetic light anchored throughout Earth, you were simultaneously repositioned dimensionally. This happening on Earth is part of the original prophecy from the “New Dawning” energy set in motion by us, the Pleiadians. We are actively monitoring the energetic grids as they expand themselves in form and energy. Your grids have already begun a transmutation process. They are actively transmitting a series of realignment cycles through the Earth’s magnetic core, and while this is taking place the sun’s electrical frequency is expanding the Earth’s core magnetic capacity. MAGNETIC ENERGY These realignment cycles have altered the magnetic energy within the core while generating an expanded electromagnetic flow. interact through your heart cells as you consciously choose to engage within your heart. This web is designed to support and expand your natural multidimensional reconnections. You can become tethered to this webbing, which acts like an umbilical cord, and holds and anchors you to the vast frequencies of the God frequency state. These tendrils from the webbing are designed to interact within your heart cells, reactivating essential imprints of God consciousness within your brain cells. These imprints allow you to fully utilize the higher frequencies of light consciousness mirrored by the sun’s rays. The webbing’s role is to align you to an ever-deepening, expansive flow of your light within your heart. Your heart is a like the bud of a flower, and as the petals of the bud begin to open up, they begin to radiate the pure vibration of your light outwards. Through an interaction within the webbing, the expanded openings in your heart contain many sacred patterns that are being re-established within you. These patterns are multidimensional structures that hold the energy light levels of creation. You are, in truth, a pattern of divine light that is original. HIGH-FREQUENCY NOTES Your individual pattern transmits a series of high-frequency energetic notes that will draw and align you deeper to the Higher Realm component of Self. The very essence of these notes contains a resonance to the pure flow of light from the Higher Realms. As these frequency notes enter your heart, they open up an internal vibration of light through their sound, which is recognized and interactive within your heart cells. These energetic notes carry the full expression of your unique multidimensional vibration of your Higher Self. You can merge to this pure flow of energy to reconnect to the many blessings being returned to you now.

A COMPLETE SHIFT This entire process within the Earth creates a complete shift of consciousness. This series of multidimensional realignments is designed to facilitate the uniting of the heavenly bodies with Earth. Through this transmutation of Earth doors open, creating an enormous potential for the re-establishment of the natural perfection within your heart to enter a state of full self-realization. This is the time for the reinstatement of your multidimensional abilities that are totally accessible through your heart — making manifest the possibility for the reopening of a higher level of purity within the hearts of humankind to unfold in this era. This is destiny in motion. The higher path is open right in front of you. This is an essential and natural turning point that you have prepared for, to fully engage with this new, energetic dynamic that is here now. You have all been launched, reconnected and aligned to these new frequency settings that continue to build and evolve on Earth. Your heart cells have been reopened into another multidimensional framework. Through this changing energetic landscape on the planet, you are enabled to experience this level of awakening. This is a monumental time for you — and a pivotal time of transition for the planet. THE WEBBING PROCESS A series of tools are open to you now to consciously utilize as you interact through the webbing. You must be connected through your heart in order to work with the webbing. The most essential component is your own heart connection. Remember, your heart is a multidimensional tool. The heart is your gateway to the Higher Realms and your pathway to your unique, divine guidance of God light. The physical space of the heart is your full chest area. To connect, you must rest both palms of your hands physically on your chest to anchor your heart connection. Bring your awareness to where your palms physically connect to the chest, and then take a conscious breath. This is a breath in and out of the mouth. This breath, which bypasses the ego mind, does not replace the normal breath in and out of the nose.

The Conscious breath says two things: “Yes, I am willing to let go” and “Yes, I am willing to receive my light.” Place the conscious breath “like a soft wind” into the space of your heart while you maintain your awareness on the physical connection. Utilize this breath as many times as you need until you see, sense or feel an opening or response of your heart opening up to you. This can be heat, a color, movement under your hands or a feeling of needing to move. It may feel as though your heart is as large as a room. Remember, this is a multidimensional energy so it does not necessarily make sense to the ego mind. Just be with your experience, and try not to assess with your ego mind what is taking place. Once you have aligned to your heart space, you are going to begin to open to the webbing. This is a simple, natural process. First, know that the webbing has already anchored and is interactive within your heart cells. You simply need to maintain your awareness within your heart and bring in the sacred sound, GRENTAH EE (pronounced gren tah ee). Utilize the sound as many times as you need, and feel the building of energy and essence within your heart through the use of the sound. Use the conscious breath and allow a letting go within your heart as doorways open up to you. As you create the sacred sound within your heart cells, the webbing will respond to your conscious choice action by establishing a deeper alignment to the essence of the webbing. This will activate the next stage process of awakening within you. Know that you may see, sense or feel this response from the webbing within your heart. Continue holding your heart until you feel that the connections from the webbing are complete for now. You can utilize this process once a day. Each time you activate this, you take another step forward. This is a sacred time. You hold the keys to Home within the vastness of your heart. Can St. Francis of Assisi Save Our Divided World Today? BY

SET ASIDE YOUR COMPUTER for a moment and see if you can guess who wrote these words: “I made a mistake. Without doubt, an oppressed multitude had to be liberated, but our method only provoked further oppression and atrocious massacres. What was really needed...were ten Francis of Assisis.” I love asking this question and I’m not surprised when people give credit to revolutionary characters like Gandhi or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. When I tell them they’re wrong, their answers become even more interesting — Napoleon, George Washington, etc. “How about John Lennon?” someone recently asked. “You’re close,” I said, “but only because their names sound similar. The answer is Lenin, not Lennon — the architect of the Russian Revolution, Vladimir Lenin.” Lenin? Is it possible that the communist leader who referred to religion as “medieval mildew” and called the clergy “gendarmes (French policemen) in cassocks” had fallen in love with a 12th century Italian mystic who gave everything he owned to the poor in order to live the Gospel of Jesus as perfectly as he could? Clearly St. Francis has inspired millions of people for more than 800 years, to the point that statues of the saint occupy gardens everywhere you look today, but how did an atheist like Lenin become so enthralled? Maybe Lenin has something to teach all of us in this regard. The end of the quote is: “What was really needed in Russia were ten Francis of Assisis,” but we could just as easily substitute that in our own world today — and it would be just as true. Does it sound like a ridiculous dream in the world of bullying, fake news and racist attacks? When you know a little about the history of Europe, especially at the time of St. Francis, you realize things weren’t that different — the pope was at odds with the Holy Roman Emperor, city states were constantly at war with other city states, and tension between the very rich and the very poor was at an all-time high. Which leads to the question Vladimir Lenin seemed to be asking: Are we trying to solve the problems of the world with the same thinking that got us into trouble? If so, maybe ten radical people like St. Francis of Assisi are enough to turn things around. Margaret Mead famously said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Was Mead’s thinking influenced by St. Francis when he wrote: “Pure, holy simplicity confounds all the wisdom of this world?”

When you examine the current direction of the world — especially politically — it’s easy to agree that the current wisdom isn’t so wise, so maybe thinking outside the box isn’t such a bad idea. Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson has taken considerable heat for challenging the status quo. She encourages us to “love with conviction” and “wage peace,” the same ideas St. Francis would have expressed if he were alive today. But at least she is willing to stand for these ideas on a national stage, inching these concepts forward, planting seeds in the minds of people who may not have viewed the world from this perception. So I’ve decided to throw my hat into the ring, but not as a presidential candidate. I want to take up the challenge issued by Lenin and become one of the ten St. Francis’s needed to turn the world around. Here are a few things I’ll need to do if I’m to accomplish my goal: Be willing to give everything for love; think less about my own comfort and more about the well-being of others; and finally, challenge my own limiting beliefs and be willing to see everyone through the eyes of love. If I can do that, even in some limited way, maybe others will make a similar decision and step forward in their own way. All I need are nine more. St. Francis’s example directly challenged the powers that ruled Europe 800 years ago, and yet his vision is celebrated today. He lived at the end of what we now call the Dark Ages, but he was also one of the inspirations that initiated the Renaissance, an era of great light and creativity. Is it possible that hundreds of years from now people will look back at this time in a similar way, calling it another Dark Age? And if they do, will they also celebrate the few dedicated people who stepped forward just as St. Francis did? ANGELS AREN’T JUST paintings on the ceilings of fancy cathedrals or characters in ancient religious books. They’re real allies that can do amazing things for you. For thousands of years, indigenous peoples, as well as all the major religions of the world, have talked about benevolent beings sent from God/Source/Creator to aid humankind. Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam all agree on at least one thing: that powerful beings of light exist and are here to help humanity. Angels are for everyone in all walks of life. You don’t have to follow any particular religion in order for them to help you. The fact that you have never seen an angel, or that an angel hasn’t shown up at your front door playing a harp and offering you a sandwich, doesn’t mean that they aren’t real. The angels find other creative ways to show you just how real they are, but if you aren’t attuned to how angels influence your life, you will miss their signs. Once you learn how to open your eyes in just the right way, you will begin seeing the indescribable angel magic that is happening around you all day long. Once your spiritual eyes are open, your life will become a magical playground full of love, hope, support, and, yes, miracles.

YOU ARE WORTHY I used to think that because I wasn’t religious or didn’t go to church, I wasn’t allowed to call upon the divine for support. I was wrong, and I want you to know that if you are judging yourself for who you are, if you feel like you don’t have the right to enlist the help of the divine, then you are wrong, too. the angels (or God/Source/ Creator) don’t judge us. They love prostitutes and princesses, sadists and Samaritans alike. The angels understand how difficult it is to be human. They understand the pain that we endure in human form, and they don’t judge us for our fumbles or for the choices we make in order to survive. To the angels you are a beautiful, innocent child. When a child falls when he is learning how to walk, does a loving mother smack her baby upside the head and call him stupid? Nope. She gently helps her cute, chubby baby back to his feet, gives him a loving squeeze, and encourages him to keep trying, absolutely knowing that he will get it right soon. To her he is absolute perfection, especially in his imperfection. That’s how the angels love humans. The angels have nothing but love and compassion for you. So I want you to know in advance that you are worthy of the insane amounts of love, compassion and healing that they have to offer. It doesn’t matter if you don’t go to church, are having rampant sexcapades, or are in the throes of full-blown addiction. The angels love you just the same, and they want you to feel their love and support more than anything, no matter how you are feeling about yourself.

Learning to work properly with the angels to heal your life is essential; however, learning to see the miraculous footprints that angels leave behind in their divine wake is equally important. You can light a fire,” encouraged my soul. I may not have known the proper steps for fire building, but I knew I had the power to light a match and spark my passion back to life. I struck a match several times with no success. I was attempting to start a fire in the outdoor sauna located on the grounds. I had no concrete or remembered instruction on how to do so. But eventually, I started the fire, closed the sauna door, and prepared to lie back on the bench and enjoy the fruits of my efforts. From the outside looking in, it might’ve been a fairly benign scene, or at least a quiet one, set in the dark of evening and in the silence and solitude of a Minnesota winter in the woods. Perhaps a facial expression or muttered curse might’ve revealed my true inner fears and thoughts, but not much more than that. And yet, on the inside, this scene was

I have no interest in trying to convince you that angels are real based on my word alone. I want you to find out for yourself, with your own eyes and ears, exactly just how real they are, like a scientist proving or disproving a hypothesis. Your experience will matter more than anything, but it is imperative that you keep an open mind and keep solid records of your experiences along the way. That’s where the science comes in. I invite you to begin thinking of angels not as celestial beings chilling out in heaven or somewhere far away but a little differently. much, much noisier. It is a truism that when our outer world gets quiet, our inner dialogue seems to grow louder. Suddenly, we hear a voice rise up from the past — a doting grandmother, a critical parent. Maybe we recite inner mottos to ourselves, maybe not helpful to the moment, but memorized since childhood or adolescence and still lingering, right alongside other old and painful beliefs. It’s not actually because the outer world got quiet that our inner world seems so loud. It’s that when our outer world grows quiet, we can better hear the constant inner voices. Often, these inner conversations take place unconsciously — not because they’re not valuable, but because the outside world demands all our attention. The less time we set aside in our lives to get quiet and listen in, the more likely it is that we will slowly forget, ignore or devalue our inner life. For many of us, our daily self-talk is a mix of positive affirmations and private admonishments. Depending on if we’ve done some work on this, this ratio could greatly favor the negative. It is then, in our unawareness of our inner world, that we can find ourselves trapped in difficult and even dangerous situations. For when we’re not watching and learning from our inner world, we become less able to distinguish right from wrong, choice from obligation, and maybe even truth from falsehood. Habits of thought and behavior are difficult to break, especially if they have hardened over the years. But we must start somewhere, and we can only do better if we know better. how we talk to ourselves, we become mindful about how we choose to do so going forward. The more we practice, the more habitual it gets. Then, even when the outer volume turns up, we can trust that the dialogue and banter going on in our minds is healthy. There is another reason we might want to start paying attention to our inner life: this is how we hear the voice of our soul. In the quiet of the scene I shared, it is not only my emotions that come through

loud and clear. It is the voice of my soul, who then guides me through the challenges of both building the fire and soothing my emotions. If I hadn’t established a practice of listening in, I might not ever have known all these inner thoughts and feelings. But I doubt I would ever have heard her, the voice of my soul, either. In this issue of The Edge, people are writing about their predictions for the year. I’d like to open the new year with a suggestion: let us find more silence and solitude so we can listen in, learn and grow from the great wisdom available from a rich inner life. a

2020 WILL BE REMEMBERED as a year of unparalleled change. The overriding themes for 2020 are the beginning of the end of the old and the age of personal empowerment. Humanity is at a choice point. The beauty of 2020 is that we are now able to consciously co-create our new reality. Worn-out systems and structures of government, society and religion will dissolve. These structures took decades to build and it will take at least this next decade to dismantle them. You will see great changes in how your life is structured, from your home to how you make your money. Inventiveness, ingenuity and integrity will be the cornerstones of success in 2020, along with personal responsibility. It is everyone’s responsibility to first change themselves so that we can create a better society. A necessary part of this dismantling is the unveiling of corruption in all forms. We saw the beginning of this with the Epstein case. Expect much more to surface next year, including corruption in governments. 1 6 WWW.EDGEMAGAZINE.NET

As many things unravel around us, expect to see huge advances in technology and medicine. We will see free energy used for various purposes. Look for huge swings in the economy. The global market will become more prominent in this decade. Look to the skies in 2020 because there will be more ET contact. Disclosure is not a single event but many smaller events that will increasingly make it to mainstream media. Finally, in 2020 we will lay the foundation for the work we came here to do. Choose carefully, because the foundation that you build will be lasting. In fact, any of the new structures we put in place will last a very long time. This will be an accelerated period of spiritual awakening, helping to dismantle the old as more people wake up to the truth around them. More and more we will reside in the emotions of compassion and love. As more people awaken and move out of mind-centered living into heartbased living, it will become easier for our feelings and intuition to show us the way. The heart is directly connected to Source, thus intuitive information comes directly to the heart, not the brain. The mind is

like a hard drive, recording and retrieving information. There will be tons of new information coming at us and the mind may become overloaded. This may bring up fear. It is so important for us to listen closely to our feelings and trust them. As I wrote in one of my books, “What the mind cannot comprehend, the heart already knows.” The heart (feminine energy) will take the wheel while the mind (masculine energy) takes a back seat until these energies eventually balance. Conscious communities will be the wave of the future, along with teamwork. As we continue to awaken, we can no longer believe that we are separate from anything or anyone and that what we do individually does not matter. We will learn that conscious collective intentions and projects become our greatest tool for positive change. Here are my recommendations for 2020: • Go with the flow. The Universe remembers why you chose your path. Trust in its unfolding. • Allow it to come to you. For those of you who have been doing your inner work of clearing, opportunities will come to you. • See the miracle within each change. Change isn’t always easy, but the changes coming in 2020 are beneficial even if they may not look that way at the start. • Expect an adjustment period. Give yourself time to settle into the new. • Stay in the moment while keeping an eye to the future. • Follow your heart and use your mind as a tool. The mantra for 2020 is, “Things will work out.” We are not merely closing a chapter on our lives in 2020, we are closing the book on who we were. We will be given an unprecedented opportunity to consciously co-create the world in which we choose to live. 2020: A Calling to Your Flow BY

I ASKED THE ALL-KNOWING SOULS who work with me, The Elders, what they wanted us to know about 2020’s energies, what we can expect to occur, and where to place our energies in 2020. Here is what they said: People will be called to their flow like “siren’s voices” yelling in their heads. They will be able to see their paths much more clearly in 2020. In 2018, the energies were sort of stagnant. People were very frustrated with many things in their lives, but didn’t see a clear path at that time. In 2019, the energy felt like it got back in to gear, enabling people to start to see their paths more clearly, and shifts started to happen. Personal relationships shifted/ended, and people shed the things in their lives that no longer served them. In 2020 you will have much more clarity about what you want. Many more people will “just know” what they need to do, and will feel compelled to act. Some will feel their paths drawing them in like a tractor beam. The energies are now conducive for those changes to become physical reality. The last three years were part of a “system” or a cycle, and we are now in the “getting on with it” phase, or will be moving into that in 2020. The energies being showered onto the Earth are going to be the strongest you have ever felt. These higher frequencies enveloping the Earth will help increase your telepathy, enabling you to receive your guidance more clearly. We want you to focus on putting pleasure back into your daily

lives, especially in what you do for money, or for a living. Some of your best ideas for work come when you are not at work. Don’t be afraid to combine a fun activity with an important work meeting. Focus on sharing your bounty (and your time with others and animals) more in 2020. For we are all one, and helping in any way filters out to everyone. Beware of depleting yourself by giving everything (your time and energy) away, leaving you depleted, and with nothing to give to anyone else. The energies surrounding the Earth in 2020 may cause you to feel more tired, so don’t ignore the body’s call for more sleep. This is of paramount importance, as this is when your brain resets your DNA and when we work to reset you to higher frequencies. This will greatly improve your waking life as a result. Inventing a World that Works BY

2020 IS ONE OF THE most momentous years in history. The last time we saw anything like this was the 1776 era (248year Pluto cycle). Before that was when Martin Luther broke up the Catholic monopoly and we began to become free to practice our own religion, without being barbecued. The energy towards transformation is huge. The forces of compassion, justice, honesty and freedom — of serving the well-being of everyone, not just those with power — are unstoppable at this point. They only need to create systems that work, and communities that prosper everyone on a local level — and the world is theirs. The powers that be meet the practical visionaries, the power of what could be. And behind them is the one Power that is, ready to manifest a sane world, for all species and generations to come. Top-heavy structures will be losing their grip — the hierarchies of capitalism, socialism, theocracy, oligarchy. Economies will be decentralizing, emphasizing self-sufficiency no matter what happens on Wall Street, the military or

national capitals. What is more important than laws are networks of support. People grab for money when they don’t trust community. The key are cooperative, global, self-sustaining networks where no one is ripped off by the system. They are small enough to manage, yet remain in global cooperation with all the other tribes and villages. They are safe communities that last. What is coming to completion is this: the wild tango between the dictatorship of money and true integrity and service, real-deal caring and cooperating versus trying to rig the game for your cronies, the gap between “We’re all in this together” and “My way or the highway,” and the entire period that began in the 1980s of “everyone for himself” and “there is no such thing as society” (Maggie Thatcher). 2020 is an armageddon of consciousness — waking up from a fog into what love wants and what harmony demands. What’s at hand is a rebirth of the sense of the commons, of extended family, of communal buying power to empower honorable businesses all over the world. The old world cannot hold, and a new

story is birthed at this time — just as it was in 1776. The worldly entrenched powers will try all kinds of methods to stay in control. So being careful to not provoke the bear, but being in tune with the Tao, with timing, with grace and courtesy and flexibility, will avoid unnecessary messes. In our personal lives, very similar processes are coming. It’s about the radical breaking and braking of old habits, so that we really feel we are living the heroic path, our true destiny, guided by inspiration, by our deepest values, by enjoyable relationships that create community and allies with whom we can reinvent this human story, to bring 5,000 years of evolution to its culmination. 2020 is the watershed year. The dark gets darker, the light gets lighter, and sleepwalking is no longer viable. Things begin to get very clear, and decisive. Reopening the Doors of Perception Spirit Leaves BY JANET MICHELE RED FEATHER IT IS SPLENDID LIVING at a time when so many old souls are waking up. In 2020, more of us will begin to see the “big picture,” Cedric Red Feather’s favorite term for the situation of holding an expansive awareness. What is involved is so simple it will likely baffle us at first, causing us to do a kind of gif-repeating double take. Gradually, we will realize it is our own insights and dreams that shape and inform our reality. The fundamental truth is that everything brought into being on Earth in 2020 is being created and supported by us (with more than a little help from our Light Guides!). Here’s what we can expect: • Empathic existence is a passing phase — We went through a stretch of experiencing the new energies as enhanced sensitivities. We identified ourselves as empaths, acknowledging and embracing all the lovely but difficult qualities that entails. We noticed an openness to feeling the feelings of others. We found ourselves overwhelmed by ostensibly “normal” sensory input. It seemed as though someone turned up the rheostat on reality, making the world a place designed to bombard, invade and exhaust us. In 2020, we will discover that what we previously termed “empathic” abilities are none other than innate qualities of extra-sensitivity that we need to remaster. We will transform these proclivities into helping skills as we navigate the new energies sweeping over us. • More light brings a gentler human being — As the darkness recedes and the light overwhelms, we may experience what Cedric calls the “last dying gasp” of ignorant forces before they are naturally extinguished, pre-empted by the Light. Where there is light, darkness naturally cannot exist. So, in 2020, we will experience the most light-filled year yet in this particular tenure of our earthly existence. We will look around ourselves and notice that people have become sincerely kind. It is already happening, to a degree. The younger gener-

ation is helping older generations return to that state of gentleness and trust they were in danger of yielding to the world’s pervasive harshness. • Energetic emergence — The doors to expansive living are receiving a kind of spiritual WD-40®. More and more people will notice that what they imagine in the mind’s eye comes to them more quickly. When they cleanse spiritually and emotionally, the sparkling synchronicities that result will be astounding and rewarding. Letting go of old assumptions minute-by-minute will open windows and skylights, as well. The doors of perception have always been poised to open; soon, they will morph into sheers blowing in a lighted sky. Perhaps that is what seers and prognosticators mean when they speak of the “lifting of the veil.” • Light enhances sight — Some like to read tarot, flock to psychics, look in crystal balls, skrying, or otherwise attempt to peer into the future. All of this seeing is totally valid, yet none of it is set in stone; everything changes as we change. When I give a tarot reading now, I remind the querent (person asking a question) that the cards fall this way today; tomorrow, they may differ. WE LEAVE 2019 WITH a close-up look at the relationships around us and how these reconcile with the future. There may be some situations and people that we need to approach differently as we see events around us through a clearer lens and perspective. Our intuitive abilities are heightened as we transition into 2020, allowing us the insight we need for this new phase of our journey. As a collective, we are experiencing a reshuffling around not only relationships, but our relationship with life and material wealth. There will be more changes that make us question the meaning of life itself on a deeper level. This may mean something unique for each person. Overall, this process requires patience and persistence with a good helping of soul nourishment. As we are challenged in various ways, we will also be able to access more solutions. Still, the path ahead requires a degree of physical effort to manifest the spirit. This may require some periods of rest to recharge and realign. We will be even more keyed-in emotionally to each other and feel very deeply the pain across the world. This requires us to have strong personal boundaries so that if we are called to be in a position of service, we can more readily extend ourselves to those in need. The elements of wind and water are especially highlighted, reflecting a rise in turbulence in the sea and coastal areas. We will need to find greater sanctuary in each other as

we move forward together this year. The latter part of the year will require us to reassess situations closely to gain greater clarity before we venture forward again. Otherwise, there will be much support around to get things done and initiate big changes, now set on a strong foundation. At the end of this year, life will look very different for most of us. We will be guided back to our roots within as we continue healing together as a collective. AS THE END OF 2019 quickly approaches, our thoughts go to the new year we are about to enter. This is not just another year. We are, worldwide, in the midst of a great awakening. In the following, I will share some insights from a Sacred Spirit Journey I did with focus on the new year 2020. As I begin the Sacred Spirit Journey, I sense that my feet are bare and that I am walking in a beautiful nature landscape. I walk through a forested area and come out on a mountain side. It’s a vast wilderness landscape with lots of green and a stunning view. I sit down and take in the beauty of the landscape. I sense a feeling of aloneness, but not loneliness; and a feeling of peace. I slowly return to full presence. My mind also is getting a break from the constant information overload and mental activity. I feel how my emotions get stabilized. My spirit guide is with me, as always, in my journeys, and he says: “2020 will be a year of true connections of the heart. It will be a year of warding off created or manipulated emotions and beliefs, and going within, connecting with our heart and soul’s deepest feelings. “Use discernment to filter away what is not yours or true, and boldly stand in the light of what is true and beautiful, of what is a true expression of your soul and of the highest light. “Darkness and untruth has ruled for so long that many — if not most — take that to be normal. While many have worked on awakening and raising the awareness of themselves and of the planet, the form of the darkness that is being revealed as light shines more brightly on all, and it is unexpected and hard to believe — even for highly spiritual individuals. “Spiritual awakening is not just about seeing and being the light. It is also courageously and fearlessly facing the darkness that had seeped into all areas of life as you know it. The mistake many make is to have expectations of how the awakening or the catalyst for awakening might look — even how your own awakened life and state will be. “It is not just peace, living from the heart and soulful living, creative expression and unity . It is above all freedom, gratitude and a deep respect for life. It is seeing beyond what we took to be the truth and then uncovering the falsehood and darkness. “Only when you face that darkness while holding your heart’s light and the highest light close can you free yourself from the shackles that have bound you for generations. Only then can you

be truly free. “Your ‘savior’ often doesn’t look like you expect him or her to look or be, but you can be certain that he will be persecuted by the establishment who fear their power and dominance might be taken away. “Discernment will be such an important word and practice for you in the coming year. Don’t blindly believe and follow, but use discernment and your true heart’s guidance. “Stay connected to the Earth, create true relations, heart-toheart, and hold freedom as a guiding light. Connecting with the Earth and with the highest light or the Divine, will help you BE that pillar of light, the embodiment of the Divine in its highest form that you are striving to be. “May the year 2020 be a year where blessings are freely given and received. 2020 is the year of awakening and hope. You ARE that hope. Your actions will determine if the light or the darkness wins. “Hold the light….” I give thanks and end the journey. VEGANISM CONTINUES TO rise. As previously predicted, McDonalds has rolled out its vegetarian burger in Finland to rave reviews and has expanded it to Sweden — and within a year, we should see it hit the American Micky D’s. Incidentally, look for some newly discovered bovine disease to hit beef herds later in the year, causing panic due to concerns of contaminated meat and fear of the disease being cross-species transmissible. Trump will backpedal furiously during 2020, righting some of his wrongs, undoing some of his mistakes in an attempt to win back voters. Of course, it will all be without apology and he will speak as though it’s everyday business as usual. The 2020 presidential election will call for another Republican candidate to step up to the plate because so many longtime Republicans want to vote the party line — for anyone except Trump. There will be two more Republican candidates. Trump will not be re-elected. The

energy is around Bernie Sanders for the win as we enter into the New Year. Joe Biden’s health will require monitoring and there’s a strong possibility of hospitalization. Disclosure is continuing regarding other intelligences and beings. Expect to read more and more about UFOs, alien encounters, etc. More movies and TV series will come out regarding paranormal topics. We will come to realize that what we consider “space aliens” is something far, far more strange than we’ve ever imagined. Exciting news will come regarding stem cell transplants in many different medical arenas. Also, look for some new treatment for brain cancers involving electromagnetic frequencies. Spring rains will flood much of the Midwest, causing widespread crop ruin. When summer does arrive, it will set records for heat and humidity. An early spring tornado in Indiana will cause widespread destruction.

Expect the scandal to enlarge around Jeffrey Epstein and sex trafficking. For years, young women have reported being “brainwashed into being sex slaves” for noted public figures, including some past presidents and foreign dignitaries. They were pronounced crazy and ignored and silenced. The truth will surface. Idaho will be in the news for something to do involving a standoff between police and a small group of extremists. 2020 promises to be a year of exciting changes. There will be renewed hope and restored compassion and humanity with the advent of the new Democratic president. Americans will truly, again, start feeling a sense of community and generosity that has been missing. 2020 will usher in the era of an American New Age based on decency, intelligence, compromise and kindness that’s been missing the past four years under the current president. Honesty Becomes a Spiritual Practice BY

WE HAVE A CHANCE to turn things around in 2020, but we need to stay awake, aware and involved. The stars ask us to pay attention to our spiritual life while always remembering our spirit is embedded in the body politic, and the body politic needs our help. We need to support our community and build a healthier world this year as expansive Jupiter and structural Saturn both conjunct transformative Pluto in ambitious, organizational Capricorn, one after the other, and then shift into communal Aquarius and conjunct on the 2020 winter solstice. Jupiter and Saturn are considered the significators of our social and political realm. Jupiter is larger than all the other planets put together and speaks of generosity, abundance, expansion and enabling, and it’s connected to liberal politics. Saturn, with its ring-wall, speaks of structure, tradition, boundaries, responsibility, restriction and control, and it’s connected to conservative politics. Balanced tension between these two poles holds us upright. Get ready for change. structures in our personal organizations and in governments around the world, but it may get messy before it gets better. Pluto brings revolution to the sign it occupies by exposing its shadow side; 2008-2024 Pluto in Capricorn asks us to look at the abuse and use of political power, the sources of our electrical power, gender-based authority, tradition, honor and responsibility. Pluto now returns where it was during the American Revolution for the first time, perfecting in 2022. Every 20 years Jupiter and Saturn conjunct and stimulate a shift in our political realm. From 1840 to 1960 this conjunction occurred in concrete earth signs and the current president died in office. In 1980 the cycle switched and this conjunction now occurs in mental air signs, and though the president hasn’t died, the presidency came under great stress, which precipitated a healthy bipartisan response. This year the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs in airy Aquarius and it calls for a philosophical and political rebirth. We can help answer that call. On November 3, voting day, Mercury turns direct after three weeks retrograde and squares Saturn and Pluto, and this could precipitate logistical difficulties.
