he Police Regional Of�ice (PRO 11) in the Davao Region disclosed on Tuesday that the 14 investment schemes establishments earlier reported to have been closed down, did it voluntarily after inspection. PRO 11 spokesperson Major Jason Baria clari�ied that these invest-
ment scheme companies voluntarily stopped their operation upon the visit
of the authorities. "Di naman po sila pina close but they voluntarily closed their establishments to comply the lacking requirements to secure a permit," Baria told Edge Davao in an interview explaining that the authorities can-
not advise these various schemes to completely stop since they haven't received any formal complaints yet. The clari�ication came after an outpouring of public reaction to the statement released
