Chinese Consul extends P7-M aid to quake-hit Cor Jesu College By ATHENA JILLIAN BRAVO he Chinese Government and communities in the Philippines turned-over P7 million (1-M Chinese Yuan) worth of �inancial support to the earthquake-hit Cor Jesu College, Inc. in Digos City.

Cor Jesu College is among those damaged by the consecutive earthquakes last October. According to Consul General Li Lin in his speech during the turnover on December 4, the donation and many other relief programs by their government is just one of the continuous and growing cooperation and friendship mechanisms between China and the Philippines. Consul General Lin also shared that his �irst visit to Digos City was with his colleague Vice-Consul Cao at the invitation of Mayor Josef Cagas to probe for exchanges and cooperation. “We were deeply moved by the warm hos-
