station manager of a media out�it in Sultan Kudarat is in critical condition after he was shot by an unidenti�ied gunman Wednesday afternoon. As of 7:00 Wednesday night, Benji Abdul Cabal-
lero, 38, acting station manager of Radyo ni Juan
FM and provincial stringer for Remate tabloid, is �ighting for his life at St. Louis Hospital in Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat after sustaining �ive bullets on his chest and other parts of his body. In a post by one of Caballero’s associates,
the veteran broadcast journalist was reportedly on his way to work when the suspect �ired in front of his home at around 2:00pm. Caballero is the admin behind the Lana Pusaka Tenelok Facebook account.
He is also the president of Sultan Kudarat provincial task force on media security. “I hope and pray you are okay my friend Benjie Caballero, We are on it,” Usec. Joel Sy Egco of the Presidential Task Froce on Media Security, said in
