DCPO says illegal drug ops netted 1,703 arrests since 2017 By ADAM B. MORRELL

resident Rodrigo Duterte’s �ight against illegal drugs remained on course in Davao City resulting to 1,703 arrests according to the latest data released by the Davao City Police Of�ice (DCPO) on Wednesday, July 24. DCPO spokesperson police captain Ma. Teresita Gaspan, who was among the guests of AFP-PNP Press corps media brie�ing held at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, revealed that from December 5, 2017 to July 23, 2019, a total of 1,401 operations were conducted by different police stations of Davao City
resulting to the arrest of 1,703 drug suspects. Among the 12 police stations of Davao City, Gaspan bared that Sta. Ana Police Station seized the most number of drug suspects with 470 arrests followed by Bunawan Police Station with 301, Talomo Police Station with 215 and Sasa Police Station with 200 arrests in less than two years.
