COMPANIES 979 firms comply with drug-free workplace assessment: CADAC By ADAM B. MORRELL

he City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) has recorded total of 979 companies which have undergone drug-free workplace assessment training program which started in July this year.
This was bared by CADAC technical adviser Ronald Rivera, who was among the guests during the AFPPNP Press Corps media brie�ing held on Wednesday at the Royal Mandaya Hotel. "Apart from the 979, we are still anticipating latecomers to avail of the training," Rivera said. Out of 979 companies, Rivera divulged that a total of 62 �irms were able to conduct random drug testings to their employees. Rivera said they are urging companies with 10 or more employees to comply with the nec-
essary trainings before December 15 as the speakers will not be available for the holidays. He, however, said the training will resume on January next year. "Companies which fails to comply this requirement, their business permits will not be renewed," he said.
