The mayor’s appeal come sat the heels of the city government’s preparation for the irst round of distribution of relief goods scheduled March 23 to 27 to every barangay of Davao City. “Mag-remind ko sa atong private sector. Ka-

niadto pag duna ta’y diaster wala ko nagapugong sa private sector to give directly sa mga tao, ginapasagdan nako sila even if magdoble doble na. But this time katong mga tao nga naghunahuna nga muhatag for relief goods, ginabawal na namo

The mayor reminded the beneiciaries of the ration card to make sure that they are in the masterlist of their barangay captain. “Kung naay lalis ug dili matagaan ni kapitan kay gi-reklamo nako siya kaniadto ug nasuko siya sa akoa this is the reason why we assigned team leaders to manage the problem. There is always

the City Mayor’s Ofice who will decide on everything,” she said. Mayor Sara is optimistic that barangay captains will not think about politics this time of crisis as this is a city-wide initiative. “Daghan mga kapitan sa Davao City nga dili nato kauban sa pulitika pero ang atoang action is citywide ug wala ta’y gipili na barangay. Tanan barangays ug kapitan, we work with them,” she said. Each barangay cap-
