EVEN suspected drug pushers were killed in a massive anti-drug operation conducted in several places in Davao City in a span of over five hours yesterday. A total of 39 persons were also apprehended in the joint operation of the Davao City
Police Office (DCPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 11, Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, and the Maritime Police. The operation started at around 3 a.m. on July 15 and ended past 8 a.m. The slain suspects were identified as Jabar Aboul, Cyril Abinoja, Reynaldo Quindao Alias Dodong Bilaan, Nonoy Tiongko, Marvin Flores Vargas, Jerome Portolazo, and Dodong Quiba.
They were killed separately in the respective areas of responsibility of Sta. Ana, San Pedro, and Talomo Police Stations. Police said the seven tried to shoot it out with the arresting officers. The 39 arrested suspects were also arrested in different places in the city. Twelve
