Floirendo Jr. made the announcement after a threehour meeting with Governor del Rosario, his uncle, at the Seda Hotel Monday afternoon. Speculations about who shall run for governor in Davao del Norte, with the term of incumbent Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario soon to
expire, has come to an end. The elder del Rosario who is on his third term as governor of the province. Former Congressman Antonio “Tonyboy” Floirendo Jr. announced that a decision has been made to field Rodolfo “Rodney” del Rosario Jr. as candidate for governor.
The declaration followed after an intimate consultation meeting with his uncle the incumbent governor at Seda Hotel in Davao City Monday afternoon. According to newsman Serafin C. Ledesma Jr., who
