MIlITANT group in Davao City criticized the signing of Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the Philippine government and United States of America.
Prof. Randy Ponteras, spokesperson of Akbayan in Davao City told reporters in a press conference last Wednesday at Trade Union Congress of the Philippines Hotel, that EDCA does not give a positive picture on the quest for peace in the country.
“As Mindanaoan gwapo ang mensahe on the comprehensive agreement on the Bangsamoro na pahuman na ta sa giyera. Pero pag abot aning EDCA murag naay giyera nga mo abot? Murag mao toy mensahe,”Ponteras said.
