AVAO City police identified “persons with interest” allegedly responsible for the twin bombings on Monday night in cinemas of two shopping

malls. September 18 9:00 am - A white Toyota corolla car feared to be a carbomb was left unattended in Mercury Drug store Matina Crossing, it was cleared after k9 unit from central 911 checked it. A few minutes later, the owner came and claimed the car. 2:35 pm – Text message circulated from unknown sources that NCCC mall was bombed. 3:38 pm – Another text message circulated from unknown sources that Matina Center Point was bombed leaving 5 people dead.
