hE Department of Public Works and highways is allocating P1.6 billion worth of infrastructure projects for the three districts of Davao City next year. DPWh regional director
Mariano Alquiza said P336 million will be the first district and P527 million for the second district to be implemented by the Davao City district engineering office while P742 million will go to the third district with the
Davao City Sub-DEO as project implementor. Alquiza said the 2013 projects are still in the planning stage, one of which is the construction of the Ulas flyover to start in January 2013.
There are two proposed flyover projects, but the one in Matina is yet to be endorsed by the Regional Development Council (RDC 11) pending completion of the requirements,” he said.
