AVAO City’s museum will finally get a permanent home at last with the approval of Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio to transfer Museo Dabawenyo, present-
ly located at A. Pichon Street to Palma Street, to the premises of People’s Park. This was revealed on Tuesday at the regular council session on Tuesday by Councilor Pilar C. Braga in
her privilege speech, saying that the mayor has given her imprimatur for the transfer of the museum to People’s Park after a thorough study and research. She also presented the proposed building perspec-
tive which is a durian-inspired design done by City Architect Clyde Eric Verga. The current museum building was formerly the Court of First Instance which was restored and rehabilitat-
