NOT FELT Millennials say Martial Law does not seem to exist

RANDOM survey conducted among millennials in Davao City revealed that they do not feel the expected changes brought about by the declaration of martial law. Those interviewed said the situation shaped up as “the same as that before Martial Law was declared.”
“Murag wala may nag bag-o”, said Darvine Ramos who teaches at the Tecarro College Foundation. She said the situation remains the same even if the city was placed under martial law. She said that while she is aware of the ‘secure and hold’ order of Mayor Sara Duterte, her activities so far have not

Registration of new city residents asked

HE Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 has recommended to the Davao City Peace and Order Council to pass a resolution urging the city council to craft an ordinance requiring new residents to register with the barangays. PRO 11 director Chief Supt. Manuel Gaerlan told a press conference Monday that this will help the authorities monitor the movement of migrants. He cited in particular
residents of Marawi City who were displaced by clashes between government troops and the Maute Group.
