ITH the recent burning incidents of business establishments in Mindanao, the police have alerted business owners in Davao City to be vigilant in order to avoid attacks by lawless armed groups. Police Regional Office XI Spokesperson Andrea Dela Cerna said that security forces in Mindanao have height-

ened their level of alertness in view of the attacks staged against Lapanday Foods Corporation in Barangay Tigatto, Davao City and the Mil-Oro Mining Corporation in Mati City where some of their facilities and equipment were burned. “Our regional director has instructed our unit commanders to be more aggres-

sive in securing our areas. Stations or yung mga soft targets na tinatawag. New lead unearthed in woman’s killing

P

OLICE investigators have been able to establish the name of one of the suspects behind the murder of a woman inside an inn along San Pedro St., Davao City Tuesday morning. However, according to Chief Ramil Macarampat of San Pedro Police Station, the suspect’s name cannot be divulged yet pending the completion of their investigation. The other suspect’s

identity remains unknown to authorities. Macarampat said investigators are in hot pursuit operation of the suspects in the killing of Rubinaire Ibara Rabara, 37, from Urdaneta City in Pangasinan. Rabara was confirmed by her landlady to be a commercial sex worker known to be called “Ilongga” who has, more or less, 14 children from different live-in partners.
