raders who wish to transport firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices through Davao City Overland Transportation Terminal will face immediate arrest and will be slapped with the corresponding charges. It will be end for violators, assured Aiza Yusoph, Davao City Overland Transportation Terminal manager. She said the city gov-
ernment has an ordinance banning �irecrackers and the transporting of �irecrackers and pyrotechnic devices through treansportation ter-
minals. Yusoph said that Mayor Sara Duterte has emphasized that “the city government cannot even issue a permit for the transport of �irecrackers due to the ordinance. “Davao City Ordinance No. 060-02 strictly prohibits the manufacture, sale, distribution, possession, or use of explosive devices even the passage and possession of any
�irecracker, pyrotechnic devices and the likes within the city’s vicinity. “So it is not allowed to pass here in the City of Davao, especially in terminals we secured every bag of the passengers before they enter the Davao City Terminal,” she said.
