IT WAS AN EVENING OF GREAT FUN and good memories as SilkAir held its “Night of Celebration” agent appreciation and welcome night at the Pinnacle Hotel last November 29, 2017

Although Durianburg’s holiday traffic is starting to be an issue, almost all the invited guests came on time to share in the wonderful celebration especially since it was SilkAir’s 20th anniversary flying to and from Davao City. At the event, I was formally introduced to SilkAir’s new Manager Mindanao, Mr. L Ravindran (Ravin) who, by the way, is no stranger to Davao. “I was in Davao twenty years ago to start the operations of SilkAir and now I am back and many things have changed in Davao City,” said Ravin. SilkAir is the only international legacy carrier that offers direct flights to Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe and Australia from Davao connecting through Singapore. Aside from the food and fun, SilkAir’s top travel agents were each given a plaque of appreciation as well as free flights from Singapore’s regional airline as the airlines thanks them on a job well done.
