he Davao-based Interface Development Interventions (IDIS) has sought to expand the coverage of its Bantay Bukid volunteers by securing more forests and watersheds next year. Chinkie Peliño Golle, executive director of IDIS, said that its 232 Bantay Bukid volunteers will be asked to cover more area, especially in the second district where there

are no volunteers. She said volunteers will be asked to help respond and monitor in the second district but the ideal solution would be to recruit volunteers from the area.
