ISIS BOMBINGS Terror group claims responsibility for Jolo blasts

AGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for the twin bombing in Jolo, Sulu on Sunday that left 20 persons dead and over 100 others injured.

The Site Intelligence Group, which monitors activities of suspected terror groups, said on its website that the Islamic State’s East Asia Province issued a formal commu-

niqué claiming two of its members detonated two suicide explosive vests, one inside the Mt. Carmel Cathedral and another one at the church’s parking area.

It said the ISIS claimed the responsibility through its “Amaq News Agency.”

The Armed Forces of the Philippines earlier tagged the local AjangAjang group with links to the Abu Sayyaf as the perpetrators of Sunday’s bombings.

footages that were recovered by police and military investigators.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom warned its citizens from traveling to Mindanao excluding Camiguin, Dinagat and Siargao islands, hours after Sunday’s bombings.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office included in the travel warning the vacation towns of Dalaguete and

Badian in Cebu.

AFP Chief of Staff General Benjamin Madrigal vowed to run after the group responsible for the bombings.

“I strongly commit, with the help of relevant agencies of government, to pursue the criminals with the full force of the law to ensure that the victims of this injustice will be prosecuted and punished,” Madrigal said.

Pope Francis in a twitter message asked for prayers for the victims of the bombings.

“Let us pray for the victims of the terrorist attacks on the Cathedral of Jolo in the Philippines.

May the Lord, Prince of Peace, convert the hearts of the violent and grant the inhabitants of that region a peaceful coexistence,” the Pope said in a

The NEDA official however clarified that the feasibility study is still ongoing, and that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the project implementer, is considering several ap-

proaches.

“We’re also looking into the environmental implications but we cannot say this is the last resort,” she said.

Lim said that the result of the conducted study will be announced before the end of the year.

According to NEDA, the P10- billion worth project of the bridge will have an approximate length of 1.8 kilometers.

he Compostela Valley Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Office (PDRRMO) has recorded three deaths due to the continuous rains brought about by the tail-end of the cold front since Saturday.

PDRRMO head Joseph Randy Loy identified the victims as Rommel Gogo, 28, Dennis Pesadilla and Krisel Hermosora, 12.

Loy said Gogo died due to a landslide caused by heavy rainfall in Barangay Tapia, Montevista at 3:17 p.m. of January 26.

At 4:29 p.m. of the same day, Pesadilla was also reported dead caused also by a landslide in Purok 24, Barangay Ngan in the town of Compostela.

Loy said Hermosura went missing in the town of Nabunturan.

He said the 12-yearold from Purok 5, Sitio Handorumog in Barangay Bayabas was carried away by the strong current of Handorumog river around 12:00 noon Saturday and went missing for hours.

mother attempted to rescue the girl but to no avail and she sustained wounds prompting barangay officials to rush her to a hospital.

But around 9:00 a.m. of January 27, Hermosura's body was found by concerned citizens and barangay functionaries of Barangay Linda snagged in a tree branch in Sitio Fatima, Purok 6.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,095 families in the province were displaced from their homes due to the weather disturbance affecting the whole Davao Region.

The displaced families came from the eight towns in the provinces particularly Mawab, Monkayo, Laak, Nabunturan, Montevista, Compostela, New Bataan and Maco.

There was a series of landslides and flooding incidents were record in the affected towns in the province.

The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) also issued an order for a temporary Mining Stoppage on all Small Scale Miners in the entire Province.

Sotto bill won’t affect city’s child-friendly status: Principe

avao City Councilor Antoinette Principe said the lowering of the criminal age of liability in the Philippines will definitely not affect the “child friendly” status of the city.

The lawmaker from the third congressional district of Davao City said that prior to the proposed bill authored

by Senator Tito Sotto, the city was already implementing ordinances that address the needs, not only of children in conflict with the law (CICL), but also of those who are at risk of becoming one.

“Because of our ordinances that created programs for the CICL, we had attained our title as the ‘child friendly city’ in the country,” Principe said.

The human rights lawyer said barangays like Mintal have special programs for teenaged delinquents, that can be replicated in other barangays in the city. She did not elaborate the programs.

Principe, who serves as the committee chairperson on civil, political and human rights, said that the Philippines is not yet ready to cater to more juvenile delinquents once the lowering of the criminal age of liability will be enacted into law.

She said that unlike in the United States, the country does not have a strong juvenile justice

system.

“Here in the Philippines, we don’t even have a juvenile court and center to cater to young offenders,” Principe said.

She said that she is not in favor of lowering the criminal age of liability to nine years old, as proposed by the House of Representatives. However, she said that the Senate’s proposed age, which is 12, is deemed acceptable.

“The proposed age (12) is acceptable to the signed United Nation’s bill for the protection of the children’s rights,” she said.

The re-electionist councilor said that she understands President Rodrigo Duterte’s purpose of lowering the age of criminal liability is to protect them from abuses, including being used as drug couriers.

Principe said that the law intended for children in conflict with the law must have a “restorative” approach, not “punitive”.

“Since the bill has been certified as urgent by the president, perhaps his plan is for the betterment of everyone.

We’re hoping that the law will have a positive note,” Principe said.

The current Juvenile Justice Act, filed by Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, that sets 15 as the lowest criminal age of liability, has met criticisms, including from President Duterte. RLL

Davao Archbishop calls for unity in battling terror

he Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) is calling all Christians to unite with Muslims and Indigenous Peoples in battling against extremists after Sunday’s bombing during a mass inside and a portion of a parking lot of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cathedral in Jolo, Sulu.

CBCP President Romulo Valles, who is also the head of the Archdiocese of Davao, said the bishops’ group expressed its condolences to the families of the soldiers

and civilians killed in the two explosions.

“We also express our sympathies to those who were wounded and extend our solidarity with the rest of the church-

goers inside the Cathedral and the rest of the church community in the Apostolic Vicariate of Jolo,” Vallles said in a press statement.

As of the writing, at least 20 people were killed, and 100 others injured. The bombing incident happened on a Sunday, a holy day of obligation for the Roman Catholics.

ANILA -- Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra has tasked the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct a probe on the bombing incident at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Jolo, Sulu.

In a Department Order No. 021 released Monday, Guevarra ordered NBI director Dante Gierran to conduct an investigation and case build-up on the bombing "and if evidence so warrants, to file the appropriate charges against persons found responsible therefor."

Gierran was also directed to submit reports on the progress of the

subject investigation and case build-up.

The Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao said the explosions occurred at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cathedral at about 8:20 a.m. on Sunday.

As of Sunday evening, about 20 people were reported killed and they included five military personnel, one from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and 14 civilians.

DA offers easy loan to rice farmers

AVAO CITY -- Rice farmers will now be able to draw cash advances from the government for their pre-harvest requirements – from planting to other crop-related activities – starting this cropping season, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said.

Piñol said the credit facility, which has been established by the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) and the National Food Authority (NFA), was aimed at freeing farmers from the shackles of loan sharks and traders, who charge them usurious rates.

Both the ACPC and the NFA are under the Department of Agriculture.

Piñol said the credit facility, dubbed the Production Loan Easy Access (PLEA), will only be available for farmers who would agree to sell their harvest to the NFA though.

“The PLEA program is the government’s intervention to provide farmers an option to their “cash advance” requirements which they usually get from loan sharks and local traders who charge between 5% to 10% interest rates per month,” Piñol added.

He said the loan is collateral-free and will be slapped with a 3-percent interest over a six-month

period. Each farmer will get as much as PHP50,000. “(The loan is) payable after the harvest season,” he said.

The credit facility will be officially launched in Sultan Kudarat province on Tuesday, January 29.

The next cropping season would soon start but this early, many farmers were already starting to prepare their fields for planting.

Piñol said farmers wanting to avail of the loan would have to go to the NFA office or buying station nearest them to register.

“As soon as he is registered, the DA, through the Information and Communication Technology Service (ICTS), will conduct a validation of his farm location, the size of land and his projected production through aerial mapping, geo-tagging and geo-referencing,” Piñol said.

He said once the validation was done, the availing farmer would then be asked to enter into a marketing agreement with the NFA. The agreement specifies that the farmer would only sell his harvest to the NFA and that the grains agency would be allowed to deduct from the proceeds of his produce the

Dominguez hopeful Bangsamoro region will drive Mindanao growth

AVAO CITY -- Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III expressed hope that the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), which would create a new autonomous region in Muslim Mindanao, would finally clear the way to the island’s rapid and sustainable development after decades of conflict.

Dominguez said in a statement on Monday that the BOL was resoundingly approved in the plebiscite held last Jan. 21 amid renewed optimism that the issues behind the decades-old strife that divided Mindanao have been largely resolved and that the promise of development for its people would finally be realized.

“Today, we again have the chance to recover the lost years, to redeem the lost generations. A new autonomy arrangement, overwhelmingly supported by the communities of this region, could light up the pathway to rapid development for the people of Mindanao.

There is everything to gain from this,” Dominguez said at the ceremony here conferring on him the title of Datu and naming him an honorary member of Bangsa Maranaw.

Mohamad Fuad Abdullah Kiram, the Sultan of Sulu and Borneo; Firdausi Ismail Yahya Abbas, the Sultan of Lanao; and Subair G. Mustapha, the Sultan of Marawi, who sponsored Dominguez's conferment, were among the dignitaries present at the ceremony, which was held at the

Dominguez was presented with the Scroll of Conferment granting him the title of Datu; the Kandit, which is a gold buckle symbolizing his new title; and the Gunong, an ethnic Maranaw blade symbolizing his authority as Datu.

The resounding approval of the BOL and the creation of a new Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, however, are not instant solutions to the problems that have plagued Mindanao for almost a half-century, as the future success of the new autonomy setup is contingent on the hard work that all sectors are willing to undertake together over the long term, Dominguez said.

"We must be aware, however, that there is no easy path to redemption. There is no magic wand that will instantly cure the malaise we confront -- not a new configuration of governance and certainly not a single political speech,” Dominguez said.

“We must be prepared to work hard over the long term, addressing every deficiency and carefully building both the institutions and the

political culture that will make rapid but sustainable development possible,” he added.

Dominguez also said the success in rehabilitating and reconstructing the damaged city of Marawi after the bloody conflict in 2017 will symbolize the larger effort of rebuilding the communities in Mindanao, which were ravaged by many years of conflict, and ensure that the next generations of Mindanaoans will be ready to thrive in a globalized economy.

The destruction of Marawi, which was the result of the urban warfare waged by government forces to expel militants planning to occupy the city, "was personally traumatic for me,” said Dominguez.

“To me, this embodied all the destruction that befell Mindanao communities over the years of trouble.”

Thus, when Marawi was secured, Dominguez said he exerted his best efforts to gather funding support from multilateral institutions and the Philippines’ friends in the global community to help the city get back on its feet and restore it to its former glory. (DOF PR)

Roadblocks to peace

t’s when you are trying to achieve that roadblocks surface.

Days after people from some parts of Mindanao voted peacefully for the ratification of the creation of an autonomous Bangsamoro region--an expression of their desire to live in peace and march into better, prosperous lives--what could be a cowardly expression of dissent blasted away defiant terror signs. The cost wasn’t light.

When the smoke of terror cleared, Sunday’s brutal attacks in a Roman Catholic church in Jolo, Sulu left 17 people dead, including five soldiers, and 57 others wounded.

How could people be so heartless?

Those twin bomb attacks is a clear act of terrorism, intricately planned and calculated to send a shivering statement to those who embrace the journey to peace. How this happened in a small town with a military camp is beyond logical explanation. Happening even during the Martial Law in full force in Mindanao, there are questions in peoples’ minds--did the police and military blink?

At this stage, there is no point laying blames. The time calls for

immediate action against the perpetrators. In the most immediate time, they must be put to justice.

The Palace has announced it has ordered an investigation on the perpetrators, with the end view of identifying the group or groups who are involved in this latest act of terror.

The church, for its part, has urged Christians to join the people of Mindanao in prayer for peace to reign in the region. Bishop Romulo Valles, head of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines asked the religious to seek guidance and pray against violence. “As we begin a new phase in the peace process with the creation of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARRM), we ask our Christian brethren to join hands with all peace-loving Muslim and Indigenous People communities in the advocacy against violent extremism.”

Indira Gandhi once said: “You can’t shake hands with a clenched fist.”

Those responsible for Sunday’s attacks are content with playing the role as roadblocks to peace--a coward’s way to represent humanity.

Seeds of Davao’s railway dream

T

he idea of linking Mindanao through an efficient and island-wide railway system was first hatched in 1899. Later, the Legislative Council of the Moro Province, in its meeting held on August 28, 1908, passed a resolution, stating: “It being understood that the War Department is again considering the question of the construction of a railroad from Camp Overton [Iligan] to Camp Keithley [Lanao], the legislative council of the Moro Province earnestly requests the Philippine Commission to represent to the honorable Secretary of War the great advantage that will result from such railroad construction in bringing to a state of permanent peace and order a most important part of the Moro Province.”

Maj. Gen. Tasker Howard Bliss, governor of Moro Province, said the realization of this initial phase would open new areas to farming and inspire Muslims in the Lake Lanao basin to settle peacefully.

Eventually, he said, the plan would affect “indirectly throughout the entire island of Mindanao” and would be “of the greatest value to the civil government both administratively and economically.

It will decrease the cost of administration and supply, render possible a reduction in the

constabulary force necessary in Lake [Lanao] basin, and be a powerful factor in extending and strengthening the influence of the civil government.”

He also recommended that “action be taken to construct this [undertaking] without delay.”

Except for short railway tracks constructed in some logging ports, Davao Penal Colony, military encampments, and other facilities, the first serious intention to revive the Mindanao railroad plan outside the 1922 P. J. Wester proposal was in 2003. It later formed part of the Davao Investment Development Plan (DIDP) agenda.

Under the Wester proposal, Malalag, Davao del Sur, would be a major terminal.

From there, a branch turning westward crossing mountain ranges and entering Cotabato Valley would be built, while another line laid northward through the valleys of Padada, Davao del Sur, Digos City and Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur before moving northwest to Guianga Plain in Calinan, Davao City. From there, the line would turn northeasterly near the Bukidnon-Davao boundary until it penetrated Agusan Valley where it would connect with the line from Nasipit, Agusan del Sur. The Wester proposal had three road networks, firstly

On the other hand, another line would commence at Mati City in Davao Oriental. The tracks emanating from this point would penetrate the interior of the peninsula to the north of Davao, joining at the Hijo-Nasipit line near Compostela town.

If viewed on the map, the three branch lines would form like tines of a trident meeting at a handle that connects all the tracks to the Agusan del Sur (Nasipit) railway system in the northeast sector of Mindanao. For some reason, nothing was heard from about the ambitious plan since the Wester idea was reported on paper.

There was also another plan to link Malalag Bay to Parang, North Cotabato, on account of the few topographical difficulties that would be hurdled if a line was built there. A 1919 assessment of Cotabato’s natural resources and potentials for growth showed the choice of Parang as being categorical, defined, and specific.

Like all other inspiring railway plans that could link the major Mindanao regions, the Parang leg remained a vision.

Even the construction of the military railroad from Camp Overton to Camp Keithley, which is around 40.23 km (25 mi), was not pursued despite Congress having appropriated funds for its initial construction. The significance of this stillborn project was mainly due to its strategic location, which is 3,000 feet above sea level. The rise of Rodrigo Duterte as sixteenth Philippine president dramatically hastened the realization of the railway dream, with the initial phase of the so-called Mindanao Railway System connecting three major southern Mindanao cities, namely Digos, Davao, and

Tagum. The stretch covers 102 km and costs PhP126 million (from the original estimate of PhP90 million).

Of the projected budget, PhP89 billion will come from the Department of Transportation and Communication (DoTC), including the PhP5.7 billion for road right-of-way acquisitions. The remainder will come from a foreign investor, i.e. Chinese government.

As planned, the Tagum train station will be at Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City, near the provincial capitol of Davao del Norte. From there, the railroad track traverses the Carmen station, Kapalong-Santo Tomas road, Tadeco road in Panabo City, Davao City (Mudiang in Mahayag, Magtuod, and Toril), Astorga, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, and Digos City.

Designed as an inter-regional transport system, the project will later connect three corridors: Davao-Nabunturan-Butuan (256km), Butuan-Cagayan de Oro-Iligan (285km), and the Iligan-Cotabato-Davao (289 km).

If plans push through (after having been reset so many times in the recent past due to financial bottlenecks), the Mindanao Railway System, one hundred twenty years since it was conceived), will finally belaunched in the first quarter of 2019.

rom now on, every last Monday of January is considered as “a special working holiday.” This is due to the observance of National Bible Day. Last year, on December 20, President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed Republic Act 11163 instilling the holiday as part of the government’s mandate “to aid and encourage development of the moral character and spiritual foundation of the Filipino people.”

As the law puts it: “As a predominantly Christian nation and the largest Christian nation in the Asia Pacific, this Act recognizes the value of the Holy Bible as the core of Christian faith.”

It is commonly known that the Bible, in its hundreds of different translations, is the most widely distributed book in human history. Moreover, in all its forms, the Bible has been enormously influential, and not only among the religious communities that hold it sacred. The literature, art, and music of Western culture in particular are deeply indebted to biblical themes, motifs, and images.

Translations of the Bible, such as the Authorized Version (or King James Version, 1611) and Martin Luther’s translation of the Bible into German (first completed in 1534) not only influenced literature but also shaped the development

of languages. Such effects continue to be felt in emerging nations, where translations of the Bible into the vernacular help to shape language traditions.

The term Bible is derived through Latin from the Greek biblia, or “books,” the diminutive form of byblos, the word for “papyrus” or “paper,” which was exported from the ancient Phoenician port city of Biblos. By the time of the Middle Ages the books of the Bible were considered a unified entity.

If you were to open a Bible for the first time, the thing that might immediately attract your attention is that there are two major divisions in it: “Old Testament” and “New Testament.”

The word testament means “covenant” or “agreement.” As Henrietta C. Mears explains in her book, What the Bible is All About: “The Old Testament is the covenant God made with man about his salvation before Christ came. The New Testament is the agreement God made with man about his salvation after Christ came.”

The order as well as the number of books differs between the Jewish Bible and the Protestant and Roman Catholic versions of the Bible. The Bible of Judaism is in three distinct parts: the Torah, or Law, also called the books of Moses; the Nebiim, or Prophets, divided into the Earlier and Latter

Prophets; and the Ketubim, or Writings, including Psalms, wisdom books, and other diverse literature.

The Christian Old Testament organizes the books according to their type of literature: the Pentateuch, corresponding to the Torah; historical books; poetical or wisdom books; and prophetical books.

The Protestant and Roman Catholic versions of the Old Testament place the books in the same sequence, but the Protestant version includes only those books found in the Bible of Judaism.

The New Testament includes the four Gospels; the Acts of the Apostles, a history of early Christianity; Epistles, or letters, of Paul and other writers; and an apocalypse,

or Book of Revelation. Some books identified as letters, particularly the Book of Hebrews, are theological treatises.

Perhaps, not too many know that William Shakespeare used fewer than 550 quotations from and references to the Bible. In Richard II, there are 40 while Richard III has 49. Hamlet has 80. Not one of his 37 plays are without quotation from the Bible, or at least a reference or allusion to it.

There are some people who use the Holy Bible as a safe deposit box. Arthur Tonne wrote: “The Bible has been used for many things: to keep family statistics, recipes, clippings, pictures, to press flowers and keep letters. One woman keeps her household money between its sacred pages. Here’s her reason: ‘Anybody who opens the Bible is not the type who would steal from you. Those who want to steal would not pick up the Bible in the first place.”

She has a point, indeed!

But the Bible is more than not. “The Bible is a storehouse of whose contents no one can afford to be ignorant,” American evangelist and publisher Dwight Moody pointed out.

“It repays reading and study whether it be approached merely because of its literary value, or its ethical teachings, or its practical bearing on everyday life.”

American presidents believe in the Bible. “Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face,” said Ronald Reagan. “I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated to us through this Book,” Abraham Lincoln pointed out.

The Bible should not be taken lightly or literally. “You Christians look after a document containing enough dynamite to blow all civilization to pieces, turn the world upside down and bring peace to a battle-torn planet. But you treat it as though it is nothing more than a piece of literature,” Mahatma Gandhi observed.

So many lives have been changed because of the Bible. “The Bible was not given for our information,” Dwight Lyman Moody said, “but for our transformation.” Augustine of Hippo said: “The Holy Scriptures are our letters from home.”

Here’s one, from Soren Kierkegaard (author of Provocations: Spiritual Writings of Kierkegaard) that caught my attention: “The Bible is easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand, we are obliged to act accordingly.”

ompostela Valley Province---The Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) members of the 1st Compostela Valley Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st CVPMFC) under its Force Commander PSUPT DANIEL S ALINAS together with the supervision of Provincial Director PSSUPT ARNOLD PALOMO of the Compostela Valley Provincial Police Office (CVPPO) recently conducted a Mobile Force Platoon Visitation on January 25, 2019.

The following platoons were visited by the PAC members together with the police authorities located at the 1st Mobile Force Platoon headquarters in Barangay Linda and the 2nd Mobile Force Platoon in Barangay Mainit both in Nabunturan, while the 3rd Mobile Force Platoon was located at the Barangay Pasian in Monkayo.

The visitation was led by the PAC chairperson Hon. Judge Cresenciana DC Cruz Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 of the 11th Judical Region in Nabunturan together with the members, secretariat and stakeholder partners.

The said visitation is in connection with the proposed project of the PAC which is the building of a Fixed Checkpoint Guard House, Installation of Tent, and Tarpaulin Signage for Barricades.

The ceremonial painting of the barricades and hanging of tarpaulins for check points was one of the highlights of the visitation as well as the discussion on the identification of the respective issues and concerns of the mobile platoons and other matters which affect the performance of the mandate.

The activity helps build and strengthen the ties of the PAC members to the Philippine National Police (PNP) organization in the entire province.

The best of 20

JANUARY is almost over and for some of us, the new year has winded down into more of the usual. Perhaps there may be some like me whose new year might have just begun. With this being said, it was only recently that I was able to gather my thoughts and photos to look at 2018 from a macroperspective.

The Palawan Series Only when I looked at it as a whole year did I notice that Palawan was where I frequented my surf days. I went to Palawan for three different visits, two of which were in places I would never have thought there were waves.

Balabac Group of Islands, Palawan This had to be the longest and hard-to-reach destination from the whole bunch in 2018. An hourlong flight from Davao to Puerto Princesa, a five-hour van ride and another five-hour boat ride to reach the center of Balabac and finally, an hour-long boat ride to reach our island base somewhere off the town center of Balabac.

This trip taught me resilience, to never judge the ocean and to respect its unpredictability. It also showed me that the southernmost part of Palawan is filled with the friendliest locals who can cook up amazing meals from whatever resource they have available.

On a sad note, this trip opened my eyes to the reality of the world and our seas today—the plastic nightmare is real, and I will never forget the mounds and heaps of trash I saw on every island we visited in Balabac. If this was the case for this almost unreachable paradise, how much more for the rest of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines and the world even?

It was love at first ride. Whether it was the perfect swell, the challenging board setup or the fact that

my second visit had me surfing unexplored territories, I will never forget what the waves this side of the country taught me.

The lessons? Accepting risks of a different kind, learning to accept that the once unreachable havens will soon be discovered and the pursuit of stoke will never go away.

This last visit in 2018 made me come to terms with the reality that there will never be a perfect wave because like all of us imperfect beings, we find the beauty in imperfection.

Plus, I was finally given the blessing by the local Palaweños themselves to share the secret of Nagtabon Beach to the world! As a goofy-footer who has a grown to love right-facing waves, the left breaks of Nagtabon was a welcome

That play typified Davao City Durians' superiority. Too much superiority they can afford to just sit out the second half and still win.
