Marine Research Lab

The international design competition called for a mobile marine research lab able to transport itself to various areas of study in the ocean. The station must address issues of sustainability, adaptability, and future technology. This architectural concept embodies a dynamic scientific research lab attached to a mechanical drill able to drill into an underwater volcano to harvest thermal energy.
