Parents’ Association
The EB Parents’ Association is special. EB is lucky to have a dedicated PA who continually builds upon positive school spirit by creating meaningful and impactful events. As the pandemic threatened our EB spirit, the PA jumped into action to ensure that community building was still happening at school, even though we couldn’t physically be together. Led by Brian Turner, Alex LaGatta, Maureen Cane and Laura Guevara, the PA helped support parents in transitioning to distance learning. PA members organized virtual dance parties, game nights, workshops, parent check-ins, and so much more to keep the EB community engaged and optimistic. The school would not be able to bring together families and build community without the PA. A huge thank you to the PA Board for their guidance, commitment, and dedication to the school and the community. They really set the tone and culture that we love and cherish, virtually and physically, in West Berkeley. We are grateful to have such marvelous members of the community taking on these important roles for the school! Thank you to all of our parents who volunteer their time and energy for EB: thank you for being the backbone of this school. The level of your dedication demonstrates your passion to create something meaningful, long-lasting and genuine here at EB. Merci !
