CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS
ME.”
- PHILLIPPIANS 4:13 -
Everything we do at Endeavour College, and how we do it, is a natural extension of our Mission: A Christian Environment, to develop staff and students’ God-given gifts and abilities for LIFE and community. This Mission and our Values, are embodied within The Endeavour Way, and inspire our students to grow as individuals, be effective collaborators and contribute to the wider community while finding their place within the world.
Collectively, we re focused in delivering a strategy across our College that adheres to the following four pillars:
• Our Lutheran Faith, Identity and Community
• Our Thriving Culture of Excellence and Purpose
• Our Personal and Professional Growth, and
• Our Sustainable Future
At Endeavour College relationships are valued and members feel connected, safe and respected. We believe this approach fosters an optimal learning environment to develop staff and students’ God given abilities for LIFE and community.
We believe in our young people and do all we can to support them through these important years of development. We encourage them to take responsibility in all aspects of their lives by following The Endeavour Way. The Endeavour Way is a framework for living restoratively by using the values of Love, Courage, Forgiveness and Hope.
LOVE – it is about reflecting the unconditional LOVE of God by showing respect, compassion and kindness in our relationships.
COURAGE – it is about accepting that it takes COURAGE to own our behaviour, take responsibility for our actions and share our experiences with others.
FORGIVENESS – it is about showing FORGIVENESS and acceptance towards ourselves and others with grace.
HOPE – it is about resolving issues in a way which brings HOPE to our relationships and instils faith in our capacity to fulfil our God-given abilities.
Pastoral Care
At Endeavour College, student wellbeing is nurtured through a strong network of support. Every student is part of a Care Group, led by a dedicated teacher who is a consistent presence throughout their schooling journey. These teachers, along with our Heads of Villages and Directors of Middle and Senior School, work collaboratively to ensure that each student feels seen, heard, and supported.
Our College Pastor, Youth Worker, and Ministry Assistant also play a vital role in supporting students both pastorally and spiritually. They offer mentoring, counselling, and guidance, walking alongside students during times of celebration and challenge alike. Chapel is held weekly and is all students attend.
Pastoral care at Endeavour is proactive. Our Pastoral Team develops and delivers ageappropriate wellbeing programs that are embedded in year-level events and tailored to the developmental needs of our students. These experiences are designed to equip young people with the resilience, self-awareness and skills needed to thrive.
Our pastoral care system groups students into mixed-year tutor groups rather than by their year level. This approach allows students to build long-term relationships with both peers and staff, fostering a more cohesive and supportive community. At Endeavour, students are placed in either middle years care groups (Years 7-9) or senior care groups (Years 10-12), all organised within each Village.
Key Benefits:
• Enhanced Mentorship: Staying with the same care group teacher allows students to develop deeper relationships and a better understanding of their individual needs and goals.
• Peer Support: Older students have the opportunity to mentor younger ones, sharing their experiences and offering valuable advice.
• Stronger Community Bonds: A vertical system encourages interactions and collaborations between students from different year groups.
• Personalised Attention: The Head of Village can track each student’s progress more effectively over time.
• Smooth Transitions: Students benefit from consistent support as they progress from one year to the next.
At Endeavour, Heads of Village stay with students throughout their entire journey from Years 7-12. This offers more personalised pastoral support. Additionally, each Head of Village develops a deeper understanding of each student over their six-year journey. Weekly Village meetings, led by student Village Leaders, will be a key feature of this structure.
Student Wellbeing
Wellbeing at Endeavour College encompasses academic, social, emotional and spiritual dimensions. We take a holistic approach, ensuring that every student has opportunities to flourish both within and beyond the classroom.
Learning Enrichment
Our Learning Enrichment program offers a broad range of specialist workshops and extension opportunities for students who benefit from additional challenges. Programs included STEMIE, the Ethics Olympiad, Debating, Junior Stretch Academy Learning Days, and a wide array of academic competitions. Learning Areas work intentionally to provide differentiated programs to support highly able students, and increasing focus has been placed on data analysis to better identify and nurture high intellectual potential.
Inclusive Education
The Inclusive Education Hub is a welcoming, inclusive space that provides tailored support to students with diagnosed learning needs, as well as to those who may need additional assistance, including students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD). Support is delivered through individual sessions, small groups, and in-class assistance. Each student’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP) guides differentiation in content, instruction, and assessment, ensuring equitable access to learning. At Endeavour, we are unable to facilitate Allied Health Services to support students on-campus.
Extra-Curricular Opportunities
Our extensive co-curricular program allows students to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections beyond the classroom. These opportunities support the development of the whole person—promoting physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Whether through sport, the arts, service activities or academic competitions, students are encouraged to participate, connect, and grow.
Transition to High School
Supporting a Confident Start
Whether your child is beginning high school or tranferring from another school, this is an exciting milestone, and at Endeavour College, we are committed to ensuring every student feels confident, connected, and ready for the journey ahead.
Our Transition Program Includes:
Year 6 to Year 7 Welcome and Orientation Days
Our carefully designed Transition Program supports students and families as they move from primary school into Year 7, laying strong foundations for academic success, social connection, and personal growth.
In Term 4 of Year 6, all incoming students are invited to spend a day at the College. They meet key staff, participate in taster lessons, tour the campus, and begin forming friendships with future classmates. This day is designed to build excitement and ease first-day nerves.
Year 6 to Year 7 Parent Information Evening
We understand that families are part of the transition too. Our Parent Information Evening provides essential details about the College’s expectations, routines, and support systems, while also giving families the chance to ask questions and meet the team. Class composition is available at this stage, and is made up of the best balance across mutiple areas.
The Year 7 Hub
To support the transition into secondary schooling, Year 7 students are based in a dedicated area of the College. This space helps them feel secure as they adjust to new routines and expectations while still experiencing the broader opportunities of high school life.
Peer Support and Mentoring
Students are connected with older peers through our Village system and student leadership teams. These mentors provide a friendly face and helpful advice, creating a sense of belonging and reinforcing the inclusive culture of our community.
Wellbeing and Pastoral Care
Our dedicated Care Group Teachers are the first point of contact each day and play a key role in helping students navigate their first year of high school. Wellbeing sessions are embedded in the curriculum to help students develop confidence, build resilience, and form positive relationships.
Academic Transition
We take care to ensure that the move to high school supports a smooth academic progression. Staff collaborate with primary schools to understand each student’s learning needs, and early assessments help us tailor learning programs from day one. Differentiated learning and enrichment opportunities begin early to extend and support students where needed.
Friendship-Building Activities
Throughout Term 1, Year 7 students take part in a number of fun, relationshipbuilding activities—including a welcome day, team-building sessions, and an overnight camp. These shared experiences are a cornerstone of the supportive culture we foster at Endeavour.
A Foundation for Flourishing
Our Transition Program is more than a series of events—it’s a thoughtfully planned journey that helps students find their place, discover their strengths, and begin to thrive. We believe that when students feel safe, supported and known, they are free to engage deeply in learning and life at Endeavour College.
Mid-School Transfers (Years 8–12)
We understand that students may join Endeavour College at various points in their educational journey. Whether relocating or seeking a fresh start, students transferring into Years 8–12 are warmly welcomed and individually supported through their transition. Our enrolment and Heads of Villages teams work closely with families to ensure a smooth adjustment—academically, socially, and emotionally. New students are paired with peer mentors, introduced to key staff, and given a guided orientation to help them navigate their new environment with confidence. Ongoing check-ins and tailored academic support help ensure they quickly feel a sense of belonging and purpose in our College community.
Broadening Horizons
At Endeavour College, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Through a diverse range of national and international experiences, students are given the opportunity to grow as global citizens, develop cultural understanding, and foster empathy, leadership, and independence.
Student Exchange and International Travel
Our student exchange programs offer the chance to live and learn in another country, immersing students in a new culture and language while deepening their global perspective. Past exchanges have included partnerships with schools in Germany and Japan, and we continue to explore new opportunities for cultural exchange and connection.
National and Overseas Trips
Students have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of curriculum-aligned and co-curricular trips across Australia and abroad. These include Outdoor Education experiences such as skiing in New Zealand, music and performing arts tours, STEM immersions, arts and history overseas trips to Europe, and more. Each trip is carefully designed to enrich learning, build friendships, and challenge students to grow in confidence and resilience.
Service Learning and Giving Trips
Our commitment to community and compassion is embedded through Service Learning. Students are encouraged to engage with local and global issues through hands-on initiatives that make a real difference. A highlight of this program is our Service and Giving trip to Indonesia where we work in partnership with communities in need. These life-changing experiences develop a strong sense of social justice, humility, and purpose—encouraging students to live out their values with action and empathy.
Why Attendance Matters
Regular school attendance is essential for every student’s learning, wellbeing, and future success. At Endeavour College, we recognise that every day at school counts—and that consistent attendance builds the foundation for academic achievement, strong relationships, and lifelong habits of responsibility.
In high school, the impact of attendance becomes even more significant. Each day of learning contributes to the development of key skills, knowledge, and competencies that are critical for senior school success and post-school pathways. When students miss school—whether it’s a day a fortnight or more—their learning, confidence, and social connections can be disrupted.
The Australian Department of Education and research show a clear link between attendance and achievement. For example:
• Missing one day a fortnight equates to four weeks of lost learning each year
• Students with attendance rates below 90% are at greater risk of falling behind academically and disengaging from school
• Strong attendance habits support the transition to further education, training, and employment
We encourage families to prioritise attendance and to work in partnership with us to address any barriers—whether they are related to health, anxiety, motivation, or logistics. Our Care Group Teachers, wellbeing staff, and student support services are here to help ensure students feel safe, supported, and ready to engage every day.
By attending regularly, students give themselves the best chance to succeed—not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and beyond school.
Health and Physical Education
Our Health and PE program supports the development of healthy, active lifestyles while building teamwork, resilience, and confidence. Students participate in a wide range of sports and fitness activities, developing fundamental movement skills, game strategies, and a deep understanding of personal wellbeing. Opportunities for competitive sport are complemented by programs focused on mental health, relationships, and personal development.
Music
The Music program at Endeavour fosters creativity, discipline, and joy. From instrumental tuition and ensemble participation to composition and performance, students are supported to grow in both skill and selfexpression. Our ensembles, bands and choirs regularly perform at College events and community festivals, and students have the opportunity to take part in regional, state and national competitions and tours. Music is a vibrant part of life at Endeavour—welcoming musicians of all abilities and inspiring a love of the performing arts.
Technology
In a rapidly changing world, technological literacy is essential. Our Technology curriculum integrates digital technologies, design thinking, and practical skills in areas such as robotics, electronics, 3D design and printing, coding, and multimedia. Students learn to think critically and creatively as they design solutions to real-world challenges, preparing them for a future in which innovation, adaptability and digital fluency are key.
Mobile Phone Policy
At Endeavour College, we aim to create a focused and respectful learning environment. To support this, mobile phones are not to be used during school hours unless specifically directed by a staff member for learning purposes.
This policy encourages students to be present, engaged, and to build meaningful face-to-face connections with peers and staff. Students and families are encouraged to use appropriate channels to contact each other during the school day through Student Services.
Uniform Policy
The Endeavour College uniform reflects pride, respect, and belonging. Wearing the uniform correctly and consistently helps create a sense of unity and shared identity within the College community.
Students are required to wear the full College uniform as outlined in our Uniform Guidelines, which includes academic and sports uniforms. Our uniform shop provides a convenient location to purchase all required items. Students are expected to maintain a neat appearance and wear the correct uniform for all classes, events, and excursions unless advised otherwise.
We believe that a clear and consistent uniform policy supports equity and school pride while reducing distractions and reinforcing a culture of respect.
ICT Policy
Digital technologies play a vital role in 21st-century learning. At Endeavour, we are committed to ensuring that technology is used responsibly, ethically, and effectively to support student learning.
Our ICT Policy outlines the expectations around the use of all digital devices, platforms, and online resources. Students are expected to use technology in a way that is safe, respectful, and aligned with our College values. Cyber safety, digital citizenship, and academic integrity are key focus areas, and these are taught explicitly through wellbeing and digital literacy programs.
All students and families are required to sign an ICT User Agreement at the start of their enrolment and are supported to understand the responsibilities that come with digital access.
Laptop Program
Endeavour College operates a 1:1 Laptop Program to support students in becoming independent, creative, and collaborative learners.
Students in Middle and Senior School are issued with a personal laptop for use at school and home. Devices are preloaded with the necessary software, security, and learning platforms, ensuring a seamless connection between school and home learning. The program allows students to access digital resources, collaborate on projects, and develop essential skills for future study and employment.
Technical support is available onsite, and digital wellbeing is reinforced through appropriate use guidelines, classroom protocols, and regular education on managing screen time and online interactions.
Families are provided with clear information regarding device care, insurance, and acceptable use upon commencement.

Onboarding Form – Supporting a Smooth Start
As part of the enrolment process, families are asked to complete our Onboarding Form, which plays an important role in helping us prepare for your child’s successful transition to Endeavour College. This form gathers key information about your child’s learning needs, wellbeing, medical requirements, interests, and any areas where additional support may be helpful.
