Band Accomplishments:
The Waconia High School Marching Band is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program at Waconia High School which includes four concert bands, three jazz bands, pep band, percussion ensemble, three show choir bands, ukulele club and numerous chamber ensembles. The Marching Band has performed in some of the largest parades in the country including the Bristol, Rhode Island 4th of July parade; the Havre De Grace, Maryland 4th of July parade; The Cherry Festival parades in Traverse City, Michigan; the International Lions Parade in various locations; and the Calgary Stampede parade.
This year the Waconia High School Marching Band will perform in 12 parades and events around Minnesota and will travel to California and perform the national anthem at a San Diego Padres game, and perform in the Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade. The Waconia Marching Band would like to thank the Waconia Band Boosters, parents, school administration and the community for their never-ending support of our music programs.
