Itsy Bitsy Spider – Extended (Lyrics) By Orlino C. and Estrella C. Baldonado Copyright, 2017 Author’s Note: The old rhyme “Itsy Bitsy Spider” has been extended to tell what the spider did after it reached the top of the spout and something else that spiders do all the time. Children love to sing the extended version, and they learn something about spiders in general. The original verse: Itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout, Down came the rain and washed the spider out, Out came the sun and dried out all the rain, Itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again. Itsy Bitsy Spider Extension: Narrator: What did the Itsy Bitsy Spider do after reaching the top of the spout? Itsy bitsy spider made a web from the top, Puff blew the wind and weaving had to stop. Hanging and waiting till the wind calmed down, Itsy bitsy spider worked till the web was done.
