Only Two in Double Figures
Jessica Zoltowski ’14 and Maria Thannhauser ’14 were the only two players in double figures against Ithaca College. Zoltowski recorded 25 points, 14 of which came in the first half, while Thannhauser chipped in 12 points. This is the first time this season that EC has lost a game when just two players hit the double-digit mark in scoring, winning the previous four contests.
Moving Up in the Record Books
In Tuesday’s loss to Ithaca College, both Jessica Zoltowski ’14 and Maria Thannhauser ’14 improved their standing in the EC record books. Zoltowski pulled down nine rebounds against the Bombers, upping her career total to 522 which moved her into sixth place all-time. Thannhauser went a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe, moving her into fifth place in Elmira College history for career free throws made.

Jessica Zoltowski ’14 became only the third player in Elmira College women’s basketball history to record 1,000 career points and pull down 500 career rebounds. She joins former EC greats Mary Kay Babcock ’82 and Martha Bolduc ’97 as the only players to reach that milestone.
Top-20 Scorer
Jessica Zoltowski ’14 has firmly planted herself amongst the nation’s top scorers, averaging 21.2 points per game. As of January 26, 2014, Zoltowski ranks 19th in the nation in points per game which does not take into account her 25-point performance against Ithaca.
Double-Digit Scoring Streak
Jessica Zoltowski ’14 has scored double-digits in all of Elmira’s 15 games this season and dating back to last year, the senior has eclipsed the double-digit threshold in 22 straight games.
