Last Time Out

Elmira is coming off a 63-58 win over Hilbert College on Tuesday, November 25th. The lead exchanged hands nine times throughout the first 27 minutes of the game, the final time coming at the 13:10 mark of the second half as the Soaring Eagles pulled away from the Hawks down the stretch. Karli Pochkar ’16 led all scorers with 15 points and also added nine rebounds, three steals, and two assists in the win. Kelsey Geisler ’15 posted 13 points, three boards, three assists, and a block while Danielle Cleary ’18 recorded 10 points, three assists, two rebounds, two steals, and a block in the win.

That’s Two In A Row

After starting the season at 0-2, the EC women have won their past two games to move back to .500. Elmira has consecutive wins against Centenary College and Hilbert College.

Cleary Double-Digit Streak

With 10 points against Hilbert College, Danielle Cleary ’18 extended her double-digit streak to four games this season. Cleary is leading the team in scoring at 13.0 points per game and is currently sitting ninth in the Empire 8 Conference for scoring average.

Career-Highs For Pochkar

Karli Pochkar ’16 led the way for the Soaring Eagles in their 63-58 win over Hilbert College, scoring 15 points and pulling down nine rebounds, while adding three steals on the defensive end. Her 15 points matched her previous career-high set in the 2013-14 season, while both the nine rebounds and three steals set new single-game marks for the junior forward.
