The Elmira women continued their winning ways last weekend as the Soaring Eagles picked up a pair of ECAC West Conference wins against Utica College. With the wins, Elmira remains undefeated on the season and boasts a perfect 4-0-0 conference record.
High-Power Offense
Elmira’s offensive production throughout their first six games has been second to no one, literally. The Soaring Eagles’ 6.33 goals per game average makes Elmira the highest scoring offense across all division of NCAA men’s and women’s ice hockey.
National Leader
Ashton Hogan ’15 has had a phenomenal start to the 2014-15 campaign, scoring 11 goals and assisting on six others for 17 points. Her 2.83 points per game average ties her with teammate Ashley Ryan ’15 as the two skaters boast the nation’s highest point per game average across all divisions of NCAA men’s and women’s ice hockey. Additionally, Hogan’s 1.83 goals per game average is also the highest average across all divisions of NCAA men’s and women’s ice hockey.
Top Three
Ashley Ryan ’15 and Brooke Wilgosh ’15 continue to rack up assists as the duo combines for 23 through Elmira’s first six games. Ryan’s 2.50 assists per game is the most in all divisions of NCAA men’s and women’s ice hockey while Wiglosh’s 1.33 average is third-best in NCAA Division III women’s ice hockey.
