welcome… We are really pleased to have you with us at our service today. We hope that you enjoy your time here and feel at home. If it is your first time, please fill in one of our welcome cards on the welcome table in the corridor so that we can send you more information about our church. Please also help yourself to a „Welcome to Ebe’ Booklet which has full details about different areas of church life. Our Newcomers Meals are opportunities for you to enjoy a delicious meal, meet some new people and hear a short talk about the church and its activities. The next one is on Sunday 24th June. New Sermon Series - “Moving with God”. This series looks at how the early church was empowered by the Holy Spirit and moved out into the world with the gospel. God‟s heart is the same today and is wanting to touch our lives and our community. This links in with Rob Scott-Cook‟s recent talk on “Hungry for more” where he spoke of God blessing us so that we would be a blessing (Numbers 6:24-27). Later on in the summer we will also be looking at some themes from Deuteronomy. Things would be so much better if only we remembered “that the LORD is God” (Deuteronomy 7:9).

Exam Prayer Diary

Thank You

Please check out the updated exam prayer diary and continue to pray for those doing exams at the moment.

Mary Horton would like to say thank you to the Ebe family that helped make her birthday a very special day, a few weeks back. She was overwhelmed with the amount of love she was shown. „Thanks‟ doesn‟t seem adequate.

Ebe‟s worship team have been doing and a course together on a monthly basis over last few months. This is a reminder to the team that on Tuesday evening (22nd) is the next session.

Worship Central Course

First Aid We need a volunteer who would be prepared to regularly check and restock our supply of First Aid kits? Could this be you? If so, please speak to Derek.

The Noise 2012 It was quite literally the biggest Noise weekend ever, in every way! 870 people volunteered over the three days, giving 7840 hours of time. These volunteers came from 50 different churches or groups. 249 volunteers were under 18 years old. 91 community transformation projects were completed, including building a shelter in a community allotment in Barton Hill, rubbish and bramble clearance at Lawrence Weston Community Farm, work in the grounds of local schools in Horfield and Lockleaze, and many different individual garden projects in Southmead, and across all other communities. 8 family fun afternoons, 3 senior citizen events, 4 football coaching/tournaments for children and a lot of cars were washed. Lots of great stories coming in. A huge thank you from The Noise team for support from Ebe congregation!
