West Louisville Hospital
As the first new hospital in West Louisville in 150 years, this facility aims to improve health disparities and provide convenient access for all residents.
The "opportunity campus" features a wide range of health and community services. The hospital is designed with patient comfort, convenience, and efficiency as top priorities.
The clear entrance, multi-modal access, and streamlined process aims to reduce patient wait times.
Eskenazi Health
East Side Ambulatory Care Center
Providing health and social services to an under-served community.
Eskenazi Health’s new East Side Ambulatory Care Center, designed with direct involvement from the community, is an innovative model of clinical care, research, education, and patient service.
On-site services and amenities address the specific needs and health disparities of the community, including a community farm, WIC programs, food pantry, nutrition counseling, an education center, family counseling, dental care, imaging suite, pharmacy, clinic space, retail and cafe space. The second floor features primary and specialty care clinics and rooftop gardens.
The new two story medical clinic building will provide a space for healing, gathering, and community connection.
This location engages the community and adjacent development in order to create a neighborhood campus.
Grady Health
Ponce de Leon Center Renovation
Home to one of the largest and most comprehensive programs dedicated to the treatment of adults and children living with HIV/AIDS.
The renovation prioritizes creating a welcoming environment for patients, with upscale finishes, custom artwork, and spaces for community events. The new space also supports enhanced efficiency and care operations.
The top floor of the building is dedicated to dentistry, led by Dr. David Reznik. In 2020, the Atlanta Business Chronicle recognized Dr. Reznik with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his longstanding dedication to serving this historically ostracized patient population.
Custom artwork, vibrant colors, and upscale lighting are incorporated throughout each floor.
Spaces for staff respite allow care providers to recharge. The cafe provides access to natural light and an outdoor courtyard.

Serving the community with a flexible and efficient care model while maximizing real estate for a large health system.
Digital check-in stations allow more square footage to be dedicated to care spaces. Shared waiting and exam rooms with centralized staff hubs allows service lines to flex based on capacity.
The program includes 94 exam and treatment rooms, women’s health and diagnostic imaging, cardiac rehabilitation, wound care, neurology, gastroenterology, general surgery, heart and vascular diagnostics, pulmonology, population health, laboratory, and point-of-care testing.

Our primary focus is aiding the health system in their goal to improve maternal fetal medicine and reduce health disparities in Brooklyn. The design challenges revolve around renovating dated facilities within a dense urban fabric.
New building entries and reception sequences will improve visibility and patient wayfinding at Elmhurst Hospital.

Woodlawn Family Health & Wellness Center
Originally a vacant beauty store, the Woodlawn Family Health Center breathes new life into an underutilized space, providing comprehensive care to Chicago’s South Side Woodlawn neighborhood. The renovation demonstrates the adaptive reuse potential of overlooked buildings and their ability to establish health equity in medically underserved areas. Standing as a vibrant model for accessible, community-based healthcare, the one-stop center houses a wide range of integrated health and wellness services that are often dispersed among independent facilities.

The west entrance serves as a second "front door," providing convenient access to patients arriving from all parts of the community via car, public transit, or by foot.
Created by local muralist Rahmaan Statik Barnes, the South facade features the esteemed "living legends" of the community, presenting
vibrant showcase of warmth, color, and civic pride.

The Ambulatory and Cancer Care Center will allow for the consolidation of all outpatient services previously spread throughout the hospital.

Ambulatory Surgery Expansion & Renovation
Connecting patients in the urban core with the highest quality surgical care and recovery. The Ambulatory Surgery addition is a vital component of providing better service and care within the Near East Side neighborhood, which Moody Nolan is deeply committed to revitalizing. The Ohio State University East Hospital addition joins a series of buildings in the neighborhood designed by Moody Nolan that further enhance the lives and well-being of residents within the community.
The expansion includes four new ORs, 16 pre/post op beds, and a CT and MRI to support the growing Level III Trauma Center.
