This is not a make. In fact I don’t think Joe Marshall even gave this Switch 180 a second try. The thing about it is that this is the very first skate photo I shot with a fisheye lens. Look how far away I was! Unforgivable. This first try at a fisheye photo gets first page of my first try at a ‘zine.

WARNING

Skateboarding law provides severe cultural penalties for unauthorized production of ‘zines this poor in quality. Distribution, praise, or judgement of this shit is taken strictly with a grain of salt. It is also a felony to impersonate a federal officer. I’d like to go on record and state that this page doesn’t count.

Anderson Schmidt Not Anderson

The world of Anderson Schmidt is one scientists have been studying for over 2 decades with no results. The only thing you can expect him to do is the opposite of what you expect. Professionally known as the poop paradox the dude is full of suprises and laughs. Take this spot for example. “Hey there are some ride-on ledges down the street for an easy sesh. He skips riding on and pops right to the top. After setting down some Frontside Tailslides, he put his tape into the rewinder and started doing Switch Front Noseslide. We know which one this photo is of, but can you tell?

It is old news that Ed Penprase is the nicest guy you are going to meet. The kind of guy who wants to give you his spaghetti squash. For example, this lady was stuck at the Escondido hospital and obviously not having the best day of her life. Ed called her a cab and helped make sure she was ok. An all around A+ citizen. Except for when he peed in the garden of this building 10 mins later. He balanced his karma.
