MEET OUR TOURISM INTERN

On a daily basis, I get the honor of taking Chloe the Cow outside in the morning and bringing her inside in the afternoon, I organize and restock brochures in the front of the Welcome Center, fulfill tourism and Chamber inquiries via phone, email and mail, and welcome visitors in the Welcome Center.

My name is Sarah Stallings and I am the Summer 2021 tourism intern. I graduate from Georgia College & State University in August with my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. I'm from Kennesaw, GA and plan to continue my marketing career after completing this internship.

During my time here, I have completed multiple tasks to help achieve Visit Eatonton objectives. I've been writing blog posts for Georgia's Lake Country, writing copy for the Quarterly Business Report and monthly newsletter, designing promotional items for the Taste of Eatonton that is taking place this October, creating advertisements for Visit Eatonton, enhancing tourism products, producing social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest, and attending meetings for the Chamber and Visit Eatonton.

QUARTERLY 15

| SUMMER 2021

I have already learned so much from working alongside Lacey, and have met so many wonderful people. I am excited to learn more as I continue my last month here and feel lucky to be led by such a supportive and encouraging staff!
