Plant Exchange

when Sunday, April 30, 1:00 P M –3:00 PM where 830 Lyncrest Dr.

The home of Erik Waiss and Gwyn

Spring is here and it’s nearly time for the free Annual Plant Exchange, back again this year thanks to our Board member Erik Waiss hosting the exchange.

This is a fun opportunity for Eastridge neighbors to share various plants they want to thin out or get rid of, or to find new plants to try in their gardens. You may bring plants without taking any or pick new ones without bringing some.

It is a great time for neighbors to visit with each other, talk with the experts, and plan interesting yard and garden projects.

Hazardous Waste Collections

when Saturday, April 29, 9:00 AM –1:00 PM where Star City Shores | 4375 South 33rd Ct.

The first mobile Hazardous Waste Collection will be the weekend before our neighborhood cleanup and a convenient opportunity to dispose of these items.

Household hazardous waste is generated from the use of a product containing a hazardous material that, if misused or improperly disposed of, could pose a threat to human health or the environment.

Hazardous products that are no longer useful must be disposed of properly. If you are a resident of Lancaster County you may dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste products year round also at the Hazardous Materials Collection Center (h MCC ) at 5101 N 48th Street which provides safe and legal management options for toxic chemicals and hazardous waste. The hMCC serves Lincoln and Lancaster County residents as well as qualifying small businesses that produce less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month.

The h MCC is open Wednesdays and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a M –1:00 PM . For more information, including a list of items that can be collected, visit HazToGo.com.

For residential and commercial construction—new, remodel, and repair, call Brett Jones at 402-310-2469.
