Mission: To develop and implement strategies to inform, educate and inspire members about opportunities to grow in faith and service, while also raising awareness of Eastminster and its activities in the community Accomplishments in 2020: (*IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19) • Produced 4 Professional Videos (Fisher Films) for worship and website;
*Countless add’l videos were produced internally illustrating/streaming worship segments • Daily Devotional Core Writer’s Team grew to 40 members, +58 add’l members & staff contributed for a total of 316 DDs in 2020; • *Website Enhancements – Online Presence: Added Virtual Resources, Virtual Calendar (Channels: CLC Exercise Classes, Children’s Time, Daily Prayer & Calming and Comforting); • *TEXT Messaging System updated for current membership – e.g. Field

Group Kick-off, Field Worship); • Annual Theme Roll-out: New logo & Images - Design & Production of Posters, Interior/Banners for key locations around campus; • Issued All-Call for photos/glimpses of God during the pandemic (a few of these to the right); • Design & Production Exterior Banners, MISC Signage & Posters; • RFP for New Website to 7 Web Design Firms Dec. 11 for responses by mid-January; • Conducted Wi-Fi & Security Audit via Consultant; • Added Guest Wi-Fi sign-on for Sundays separate from Church Business Servers (Security); • Purchased Panasonic Laser HD Projectors for the Sanctuary; • Integrated Church Calendar System w/Door Locks & HVAC Scheduling; • Continued to work with Palmetto Consulting, EPC’s Computer/Software Support Partner.
Goals for 2021:
• Respond to D&D Discernment Report Feedback for “Low Hanging Fruit;” • Reformat E-News (New vendor or template); • Sound System Audit for Sanctuary; • New Website Roll-out in 2021-22; • Website Content entry by Admins by Ministry w/Communications being Gatekeeper/Publisher; • Identify Best Practices for Eastminster Social Media Focus; • Expand Communications Staff (Technical/Social Media/Website); • Develop/Recruit Writers Bank by Ministry for Magazine Content; • Recruit Volunteer Photographers by Ministry (EPW has in place); • Work with IT to procure flat-screen TV’s for brighter display; • Evaluate empty wall space around CLC for add’l flat-screens; • Computer Audit for Church & EDS Staff for New/Replace Computers;
• Procure a second screen for better projection from the walking track in the Gym during events;” • Add a Video Booth to Balcony next to Sound Booth; • Add Chancel Cam (View of Congregation, Pastors, Baptisms, Choirs, Children’s Sermons); • 75th Anniversary (2023): Develop Communications Checklist.
