SCHOOL BASED SERVICES

Waystoengage:
We receive referrals from teachers, school-based counselors, principals, parents, and providers
Students may also self-refer Scan the QR code to make a referral today You will then be asked to complete an intake, after which your child will be able to engage in individual school based therapy

Your child will receive services from a licensed clinician for a set number of sessions, during the process of which you may be asked to participate This can come by way of interacting through the patient portal, with the therapist directly, or through our parent navigators
Easterseals MORC is able to utilize a family's insurance to assist in covering the cost of services
A copay may still apply, per insurance requirements If a child is underinsured or has no insurance, a sliding scale fee can be determined
Easterseals MORC has strictly held systems of confidentiality, which means nothing can be shared without your consent For this reason, all families that participate in school based services will be asked to sign a Release of Information for the school This will be used for safety and treatment purposes
Parent navigators have been added to the services offered to assist our therapists in engaging you as a critical part of your child's team They are available as a resource and support to you, as well as being able to offer workshops to staff and families of children served
Non-engagement and missed appointments can be a barrier to students receiving the services they need If a student misses an appointment, the clinician will attempt to schedule another appointment If the student misses a second appointment, a parent navigator will be assigned to the case to assist with the student’s engagement in therapy
