The deadline for transfer scholarship applications is January 15. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year. Visit the Office of University Scholarships at scholarships.ecu.edu for details.

THE ECU HONORS COLLEGE FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

Transfer students accepted into the Honors College receive $1,250 per semester in scholarship support for up to five semesters. Transfer students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply to the Honors College:

Transferring from a North Carolina community college

3.5 or higher cumulative GPA (all institutions attended)

24 credit hours completed post-high school

PIRATE PROMISE

Pirate Promise allows students from participating community colleges access to advising and extra support before they transfer to ECU. Qualifying Pirate Promise students are guaranteed admission and eligible for an application fee waiver among other benefits. Learn more at piratepromise.ecu.edu

TRANSFER You must have completed (or be enrolled in) a minimum of 24 transferable credit hours, including the equivalent to ECU’s ENGL 1100 Composition. Applicants are reviewed on the basis of their cumulative GPA, and the most competitive applicants are offered admission. Note: Meeting the minimum admission qualifications does not guarantee admission, nor does it guarantee admission to a specific academic program.
