Evan Horn Ceramic sculpture, stone tilings, felted wool tapestry Evan’s work deals with the strength and fertility of complimentary opposite forces, forms and fibers. Water under pressure to cut stone. Water and precision to sculpt clay. Water and agitation to bind wool. Born in West Texas desert, Evan was influenced by the starkness and tensions that he found there. This is noticeable in his palette and in the way that he plays with notions of permanence.
