Oil on canvas, polymer clay I have been working on some paintings and sculptures for a while now, and a handful are finished...many are in various stages of completion. Maybe they are portraits, or psychological studies. Perhaps they are surreal or illustrations. All I’m sure of is that I need to paint and sculpt. Latex, acrylic, ink, mixed media on paper, canvas My work incorporates the ideas of 1960’s revolutionaries, personal liberation, and shared experiences. These ideas guide me in my personal revolution, which has recently become the revolution I am fighting the most for. I am highly influenced by artist revolutionaries such as Nancy Spero and Leon Golub. In my studio my ideas translate into personal landscapes which begin to evolve into historical documents.

Art From the Streets Pop-Up Gallery
EAST weekends: 11am-6pm Twice a week, homeless and formerly homeless individuals find their way to free, open studio sessions hosted by Art From the Streets where they make art to sell to the public. Get Art & Give Hope Nov. 9-10 at the Austin Convention Center, and as part of the EAST tour a week later – at the Art From the Streets Pop-Up Gallery in the Community Event Center at Nature’s Treasures!
