Friends Groups
Barclays Bank-ing on success
We have three friends groups in Norfolk who help us spread the word about EACH and organise events to raise much needed funds and awareness in their areas. These groups are based in Diss, Holt and Norwich and they’re always looking for new members. If you’re interested in going along to one of their meetings to find out more, please contact the Norfolk fundraising team (see page 2). Norfolk branches of Barclays Bank fundraised for EACH as their chosen Charity of the Year in 2013. The past 12 months saw staff holding branch cake sales and raffles, a charity football match, a disco paddle boat event, a family fun day and a Christmas party.
Discord is music to our ears DISCORD ‘choir, that isn’t a choir’, led by Michael Dann has raised £3,050 for EACH. The group organised concerts during 2012 and 2013 including one at Diss High School where a CD and video were produced and sold to choir members.The cheque presentation, which excluded online donations, took place at their performance at Croxton Church near Thetford.

Some staff took part in our Ride for Life event as well as volunteering at local events. The money raised was increased by Barclays generous match funding scheme bringing the final total to £28,035.
